Would mean we're either signing a right-back or keeping Manquillo for another year.

Just seen that Trippier played every league game last season, quite a feat for a soon to be 33 year old. Let's hope he can repeat it this season or Krap comes back as decent back up.

You could argue Krafth could probably do the Burn role on the right side if we signed a more attacking left back. Maybe one who’s still pushing to be a starter. OR, if Trippier flipped sides and and Burn was out hurt or something.

Is he pretty much guaranteed to start there? I’m not familiar with their options at RB. I’d love to see him get a full season of first team football somewhere.

Kyle Naughton who is 32 then a 23 year old Josh Key. No idea about Key.

I can't imagine we are sending Ashby out unless he is guaranteed starting minutes. Could be great for him and us though.

They've brought in a right back from Exeter this summer and have Kyle Naughton who is ageing. I guess on the face of it might be competition for him, but realistically you'd expect him to make the position his own with the potential. Fairly sure there was a Swansea fan on here who might know more.

That’s what Kuol thought too.
