Agree with the rest of the sentiment but he was absolutely fucking shite for several periods, particularly Bruce's last few games and the early Howe days. The fact he's been content to sit on his arse basically since we got promoted with the occasional burst of football tells you all you need to know - he's nowhere near good enough to be playing for us and he's clung onto the pre-takeover mediocrity gravy train better than he can a ball. We were heading down between him and Elliot before Dubravka came in as well. Had some shite moments in the Championship too. Even that clip that went viral he fucked up initially then should have had a penalty awarded against him. Was perfectly fine in the championship and never looked that much out of his depth when standing in when needed and never kicked up a fuss when dropped. Fulfilled his role well. Dubravka was a better keeper but he cost twice as much and his wages were bigger so you’d expect him to be wasn’t really wanting to compare him against anyone.
