Don’t really get how anyone can dislike City, they have stopped the Man United dominance of the league , prevented Liverpool winning more league titles and in general pissed off the other big 4 teams and Spurs , how can you dislike them really ?

They cheated and got away with it on a technicality. Really they shouldn't be in this final - nevermind winning it.

They had to cheat due to FFP which was only brought in to protect the big four clubs and Spurs, I don’t blame them for for doing it.

No they didn't 'have' to cheat - they chose to.  We'll win the CL in time but we'll do it the right way.

Football is the biggest loser today.

Agree it's a dark day for football if City are found guilty of cheating having them as Champions League winners as it shows cheating does work. Should've been sorted before any of their 3 trophies either way so it's not hanging over them

Seems to be completely forgotten by everyone at BT as if these charges dont exist

It's a joke.  We never hear the last of journos saying Newcastle have questionable owners.  And yet - in terms of club ownership they are a beacon of how it should be done.

Like anyone else would give us credit if we did do it the "right way" anyway

We are owned by the saudis so everything getting labeled at man city would be aimed at us anarl

How have they cheated?

They have done nothing the top 4 club hadn’t done.

Let’s not forget that Man Utd and Liverpool only had their football dominance because they had periods when they spent a fuck ton more than other clubs. In Liverpools case, they were bankrolled by the family who got the ball rolling in football/sports gambling.

Chelsea have done well due to spending more than both Man Utd and Liverpool.

Both Arsenal and the Spurs owners were the people behind the Premier League breaking away from the Football League (as well as Liverpool).

If they have broken any rules, it is rules that these clubs have enforced to stop others from doing what they did.

exactly. those who were around in the 70's were just as pissed off with Liverpool buying whoever they wanted.

Got accused of over inflating Sponsorship deals and threw lawyers at it and got away with it on a technicality.   ALL eyes on Newcastle now so we don't do the same.

Watched this on Youtube via a VPN. This BT SPORT coverage is sickening. Is it always like this when English teams win/go far? Embarrassing!

The commentary was absolute shite as well. Fucking Joleon Lescott running back and forth spouting absolute shite.

@Froggy thoughts on Rio Ferdinand bending over for this lot on camera?
