It'll be a huge blow for them, especially with Chelsea on the final day. They've have been hoping to have 5th place wrapped up by then, whereas if they lose here, that may well be a straight shoot out.

The problem is the other 2 teams that most likely could have won it Frankfurt and Bilbao have already qualified for UCL via their league. 

 

Winning Europa while fighting for simultaneously having to bring a top 4 quality in the league will eventually tire a team out who don't have the depth for it. They are just trying limp torwards the finish line. It's most likely the reason why West ham easily walked the conference league while getting 14th but Aston Villa failed to get into the semi finals but had top 4 in the league.

Exactly. Playing at home to Brentford and losing isn't a free hit when you're aiming for CL.
