It's not the dropping points for Forest. It's the horrific trend. Confidence is shot at the worst time.

Ā

I wish we had them at home and not Brighton away.

No game at this point is a free hit and losses have more impact than just losing the 3. Forest would have expected to win this. There’s no world where a Forest defeat isn’t great for us.Ā

Everything about Forest this season has been about riding a wave of momentum in spite of all prevailing statistics (and my own eyes tbh) saying they were going to drop away at some point. A collapse in results at this stage is huge for confidence because of all the teams up there it seems most likely to spiral for them IMO.

Basically a free hit for forest, still only 2 points separate the teams 3rd to 6th

Disagree entirely. At home against the lowest position of all / all bar one of their last games. We win at weekend and they lose away to palace on Monday, can’t see them getting 6 (with GD) from last 3 gamesĀ

Palace next is not easy for Forest.

It couldn't be much worse. They are riding the crest of a wave. Forest need to win too. A Draw isn't enough.

Was funny, us sat third in the league pissing the bed over our next game, hearing the commentators on Sunday saying Forest had pretty much qualified for Champions League.

But it's in there hands if they host chelsea last game of the season.Ā

That's all you can ask for.Ā

It is in their hands, but they were 3rd in the table this time last week, but after wins for Man City, Newcastle and Chelsea they slipped to 6th place and outside the CL spots. They were at home to a bottom half side, with a chance to get back into 3rd - it's a massive missed opportunity for them.

Seeing forest start to fumble like this. People need to appreciate how difficult getting top 4 actually.

This is it. Forest have no experience of doing this. They have no idea how far you need to push it. You ain’t just turning up to the Prem for a couple of seasons, playing well for 7 months and walking a CL place. If they’d have won this, they’d be third, one point ahead of us, as it is, they’re not. That can only be awesome for us.Ā

Agree with that, a draw is still minimum for us on Sunday so doesn’t change much is what I meant.

Wonder if Palace will be careful with their selection, even though the final is still 2-3 weeks away.

I was at a wedding last year and was getting jip from a drunken gobby Forest fan about Wood, Anderson and Vlachadimos and I'm not going to lie I'm almost petty enough for that to be reason enough for me to want them to fail.

I'm not arsed about scabby Forest, but I'd have them over any of the dirty 6

Ā

Their fans are pretty intolerable imo. Every fucking conversation and radio phone in, they're harming back to Clough and the 'good old days' and then thinking they're winning the league this season.

Ā

You should hear the Forest fans I know talk about signings. Cunha is going there apparently.

Ā

Fuck them. Shitty scabby club.

Nar F em. Just for them to mess up the coefficient and make getting UCL even more difficult for us next season. Especially with Manchester United or Spurs in the UCL next season too.Ā
