Is it too simplistic to say if Arsenal had Isak they'd win the league?

Ā

The absolute 100s of millions they've spent, their centre-forward situation is shocking.

Arsenal have spent 750m in the last 5 years surely.Ā
Ā

in attacking areas they have bought:

Trossard

Havertz

Pepe

Gabby Jesus

Ā

Tbis is almost £200m worth of attacker.
Ā

Edit: Odegaard brings it to £200 and makes it look a bit better. But not good enough for the money spent.

Yeh I think generally they’ve just struggled to create great chances this season. Ā With Partey and Zinchenko in midfield they were excellent at passing through the lines into space and they played more of a transition game. With Rice they have more control but don’t create as much. He’s not as good at those line breaking passes. Ā
Ā

if they had Isak though - they would obviously be better and closer to the title.Ā

Nah. Saliba, Rice and Saka are the only players good enough for a title winning side imo.

Which for the money they've spent is terrible. They seem to have had about £150-200m net spend per season for 4 years (probably wrong)
