That would be a red card for any non top 6 side. Clear deliberate elbow.

But as it's Liverpool/vvd 'he's just letting his opponent know he's there'

Absolute bollocks.

Van Dijk will get pinged for violent conduct one of these days. Is he getting away with it as he does it to dislikable types (on the pitch for the neutral) like Gordon and Richarlison

Do you really need to ask why he gets away with it? Haha

I mean. Kulusevski against Chelsea and Bruno against Arsenal last season got away with blatant ones. That just felt obvious what he was trying to do, the same as the Gordon one. Totally unnatural movement of his elbow.

I know it’s naturally for people to claim conspiracy at times, but when these Scouse cunts get away with stuff like that on a regular basis and get gifted decisions to help them win games, you really start to question things.

So an elbow to the face is violent. An elbow to the throat is fine.

Okay, McCoist.

My only thing is if you get hit but roll around grabbing the wrong body part, you are probably just fine.

You know he did that early to rattle Richarlison, knowing full well, the Brazilian will no doubt get after him and likely get in bother himself.

Also knowing he'll get away with it.

Famous Anfield atmosphere sounds shite, basic whinging and no chanting.

I’ve said it before but they’re pre-match YNWA merchants and then silence unless they score. #FamousAnfieldNights
