They've lost 3 of their last 4 league games now, two of which at home. It's still in their hands but this would be a big blow.
STM
In a fair world Forest are winning the europa league for their efforts. Twice the side of them jammy cunts.

The problem is the other 2 teams that most likely could have won it Frankfurt and Bilbao have already qualified for UCL via their league. Winning Europa while fighting for simultaneously having to bring a top 4 quality in the league will eventually tire a team out who don't have the depth for it. They are just trying limp torwards the finish line. It's most likely the reason why West ham easily walked the conference league while getting 14th but Aston Villa failed to get into the semi finals but had top 4 in the league. black_n_white
Basically a free hit for forest, still only 2 points separate the teams 3rd to 6th

They've have been hoping to have 5th place wrapped up by then, whereas if they lose here, that may well be a straight shoot out. But it's in there hands if they host chelsea last game of the season. That's all you can ask for.
AngelofTheFourth
Seeing forest start to fumble like this. People need to appreciate how difficult getting top 4 actually.

STM
It's not the dropping points for Forest. It's the horrific trend. Confidence is shot at the worst time. I wish we had them at home and not Brighton away. Edited May 1 by STM
Joelinton7
No game at this point is a free hit and losses have more impact than just losing the 3. Forest would have expected to win this. There’s no world where a Forest defeat isn’t great for us.
nufc123
Palace next is not easy for Forest.

ponsaelius
Everything about Forest this season has been about riding a wave of momentum in spite of all prevailing statistics (and my own eyes tbh) saying they were going to drop away at some point. A collapse in results at this stage is huge for confidence because of all the teams up there it seems most likely to spiral for them IMO. At home against the lowest position of all / all bar one of their last games. We win at weekend and they lose away to palace on Monday, can’t see them getting 6 (with GD) from last 3 games

TBG
Was funny, us sat third in the league pissing the bed over our next game, hearing the commentators on Sunday saying Forest had pretty much qualified for Champions League.

It is in their hands, but they were 3rd in the table this time last week, but after wins for Man City, Newcastle and Chelsea they slipped to 6th place and outside the CL spots. They were at home to a bottom half side, with a chance to get back into 3rd - it's a massive missed opportunity for them.

This is it. Forest have no experience of doing this. They have no idea how far you need to push it. You ain’t just turning up to the Prem for a couple of seasons, playing well for 7 months and walking a CL place. If they’d have won this, they’d be third, one point ahead of us, as it is, they’re not. That can only be awesome for us.
