Man, it would be wonderful to see us compete this deep into this competition at some point in the hopefully not too distant future.

Would be nervy as fuck of course, but would still be wonderful.

Maybe I just jinxed our next decade...?

He tackles the inter lads foot into the ball that's a foul.

Like i said i see the contact. I just dont’t see the foul. What did he prevent as they were both stretching to reach the ball with the tips of their boots.

It's the type of penalty that Gordon made an art form out of winning last season but I'm not sure I'm in favour of them even though by the letter of the law it's a pen, Martinez clearly played for the penalty by moving his foot between the defender and the ball, never made any attempt to play the ball.

Barca need to find a way to get Raphina into the game more, nothing has come from that side of the pitch. Yamal is carrying this lot atm

Its 90% dependent on the offside trap

Aye. Difficult using the offside trap if the defenders only look forward l not even bothered about their runs.

He prevented the attacker from actually staying on his feet long enough to get the shot off.

Fucking pundits are shite, when will TV companies realise that because someone was a great player it doesn't mean they'll make a great pundit, I sometimes think Directors and Producers just get starstruck. Let's put some of these football analysts on.

Yeah just seen another angle and LM definitely stood up more than it looked from previous angles. Penalty.

Inter should be out of sight really. Would love to see this Barca team vs Germany 2014. They be dissected into untraceable little pieces.

We'd give either of these sides a game. In fact, I'd say Gordon and Isak would love that Barca back line.

It'll be a long time before we are consistent enough to get this far in the champions league.

Our squad would struggle to break this inter team down as it is.

But in time our options will get better.

Earlier in the season Barca would just blow away that side tbh.

Don't watch enough La Liga to refute this. They look incredibly naive from a tactical perspective right now though.

I've loved the way Barca have played this season, and PSG, it feels the complete antithesis of the dull, left to right, heavily tactical, possession heavy, grind you down style that Pep has brought into the game in the last 5 years or so, where every player might as well be robots. Whereas both Barca and PSG it feels like the players are slightly liberated, like they can act as individuals, and make unrestricted decisions, but doing so within a system, and I was hoping for a Barca Vs PSG final so we may see a transition to that style of coaching again.

That being said, that works really well in attack, but it really doesn't in defense.

They are flawed no doubt, but considering we're they were last season they've been very fun to watch this season.
