My guy, no offense, but you sound like my countrymen blaming Osimhen for being injured or off-form when we fail to beat Zimbabwe or Lesotho. If Kosovo beats you twice in two months, the issues were deeper and one player was not the saviour.

I am happy that Isak will miss out, though.:aww:

I think there's a difference between being injured and deliberately skipping a full preseason though, but I see your point.

It's obviously not just because of him, but I do think it plays a big part. He's supposed to be our star player and all that 😊

How long can pre-season be a valid excuse too? Despite not training with the team, he was still training individually. He's been training full time with Liverpool for 2.5 months now. Played 318 minutes of PL football and...210-ish(?) minutes of international football. Almost 6 games worth of minutes.

Very fair, it is self-inflicted and worthy of more criticism, though as Conjo said, that excuse is running dry. The man is just playing poorly at this point.

Also just realised Sweden have a back door through playoffs, so maybe things will come together once this manager is dumped. Talent is there even with the traitor misfiring.

For sure. I'm not sure how long it should take for a professional footballer to be fit, so here's hoping he's fit and just turned shit 😁

Be case would be this cunt getting an injury and being out for a year, and Sweden qualifying through the playoffs without him 😁

Not much longer, for sure. Cue mysterious, niggly thigh injury picked up while losing to Kosovo.

They're the best Scandinavian country. I'd probably go:

1) Sweden

2) Denmark

3) Iceland

4) Faroes

5) Norway

6) Finland

some wild takes in there, almost an inversion of the true table. could debate some of these all day but finland bottom is surely trolling. finland = world's hardest bastards.

He's 100% fit right now, he maybe just lacked that match sharpness due to missing preseason friendlies, but he's played in enough competitive games now to have gained that, I don't think preseason can be used as an excuse 2 months into a season where he's had plenty of time to train with his team mates and played half a dozen games. Maybe he's lacking some confidence and a goal or two puts him back on track?

But at the moment it does look like the Liverpool setup doesn't play to his strengths, he doesn't get to play on the shoulder of the last defender, they have the lions share of the ball in all their games and he's surrounded by players who like to score themselves and not play the ball into him. I don't recall him ever playing that well when space was an issue for us against a low block other than that worldie assist against Everton a few seasons back. It's hard to know if I'm just being biased and hoping and wishing, but I just can't see it working out for him at the dippers.

That is actually a good list, since only Norway and Sweden, and in some cases Denmark are part of Scandinavia.

Returning to topic, would really like Bruno and Tonali getting a rest today.

Kosovo done the double over us

If Isak wasn't a fucking cunt he'd be in form and this would probably not have happened

I mean, as a Finn I remember everyone being mental when Kosovo played 1-1 with us, and we are crap.

They're two up now, a fine chipped throughball from Paqueta to Martinelli. Japan's defence stopped but he was onside.

Since the assist, Bruno's done a backheel pass and one of them ones where he rolls it with his studs. He's in full samba mode.
