I can recall both European exits, so aye, it remains strong, ha.

I only actually saw the Cup Winners Cup one. Gutted. Think Ketsbaia missed a sitter. Bloody away goals.

Please, watch from 2 minutes 20 seconds for a wonderful goal from one of our young defenders. The second goal while not as good was scored by his brother (the kid with the mad plastic glasses). Their dad Andy was a Pars legend too.

It'll only take 30 seconds of your time and it's worth it.

I've always hated away goals as it's awful if you're watching as a neutral and wanting pens. Win the home leg 1-0 and go 1-0 up away and the tie is just about done (well, unless you're playing Sporting, ha), but Newcastle's European record certainly hasn't changed my mindset.

One of my earlier memories of football was losing against Bilbao in the mid 90s, then Partizan, I was at the 4-4 Troyes match, and without Googling, I'm sure there was another away goals defeat, maybe Roma/Milan

Linfield and Shamrock go through, which is good.

Linfield play Shelborne in the next round.

They played 3 weeks ago in the Champions League first qualifying round

And now they play again in the final to make the league stage.
