It's a pity tomorrow's English games weren't split up time wise so one is on at tea time and one in the evening. The tea time games look rancid.

Same with Thursday, I'd quite like to watch Man City v Napoli.

The new format gives the bigger teams more ways to some how get away with being shite as proved with PSG and Real Madrid last season.

Load of utter bollocks the whole sport is coming.

PSG just scraped through the year before in a 4-team group tbf. Normally though they'd have got an easy run in that format to the knockout stage.

I think we have one of the most difficult set of games (the weakest team we play beat PSV away) so I guess we'll (hopefully) make the play off matches, where no doubt we'll be paired against one of the top seeds unless we're fortunate enough to scrape into the top seeds.

Losing Wissa and Ramsey this early is really unlucky. I'm hopeful we can sign a couple of very good players in January just to provide fresh legs and add a bit of extra squad depth, or it could be a similar season to the last time we were in the Champions league where we struggled in the EPL.

We'll have to be in top gear to take anything from Barcelona.

Actually a good tactic TBF

Apparently there is a legitimate reason for it. In the National League Cup, there is a rule that the National League sides need to start 4 players that had started the previous league game, I'm guessing to stop clubs just fully playing the kids and essentially have Fulhams U21's Vs Forest Greens U21's, but there is no rule to say how many minutes them 4 players have to play, and Forest Green wanted to rest their whole first 11, so just subbed them off after a minute.
