Hopefully St Mirren can beat Celtic in the other semi to give us a chance of a first trophy in my lifetime. I can't believe it, wee Championship Dunfermline in the Scottish Cup Final again. Just brilliant. Well done. Hope you do it. Sadly my Scottish team St Mirren couldn't join you. Did so well to come back from the dead at 2 down but were blitzed in ET. Yeah I hate to see them given but that doesn’t take away from the fact you move your head in direction of another player it’s a red all day in 2026. Haaland ironically done him a huge favour by not being a fanny.

It’s not as simplistic as “big club rules” but it’s very obviously “narrative rules”. Still think Arsenal’s run-in is easier and Arteta’s low-risk, low variance style is more likely to prevail, but it’s lovely to see them both lose the game and any last semblance of sympathy some people might have dredged out of somewhere. I can see why the push on Dragusin might not be given a month ago, but then you have to let the less obvious Kolo Muani challenge on Gabriel go. It was the next game. So infuriating. Keggy_Keagal
Arteta's a shite manager , all those times when he's needed to beat City and he's played for the draw and the day he needs the draw and he plays for the win .

alexf
Yeah I've been thinking Arsenal's bad form, whilst making things very worrying for them right now and having the media and other fans laughing at them, has actually come at the right time if they can snap out of it and win their remaining games. City have come good and put a massive run of results together to close the gap to even after the game in hand. But they need to go again now and win all the remaining and they have a few potential banana skins in there, plus have FA Cup fixtures coming up as well. They may have peaked early if Arsenal don't slip up now. But in current form you could imagine Arsenal's heads might go and they could drop more points unexpectedly now. But it won't be against us. Can see a comfortable 4 or 5 nil for them.
