And don't forget how Eddie's team always delivers when the pressure's on? I can't remember us ever losing a must-win game at St. James' Park. We'll thrash Everton. Eddie's team has proven it time and time again. Just got to make sure (if we require three points last game), that we don't have another Leicester game from two years ago. Unlikely I know, but they are against two teams who can cause problems (as we know). Bournemouth and Fulham not in the best of form though either. They are both going to roll over for City. Ikon
I’m very confident we will beat Everton if we aren’t passive or sit back with a slender lead. Don’t give them a second on the ball. Ruthless
The Prophet
We might beat Arsenal yet. It'll be tough, but it's possible.

I agree (I'm quite confident we can get a result on Sunday also). I'm probably thinking of t-Rex having an absolute blinder. He's love nothing better than to be the one who stopped is qualifying. Overall though, I'm pretty confident we will get over the line and I'm not even convinced we will actually need three points. Superior Acuña
Forest drop points tomorrow then beat Chelsea and we need fuck all, granted we don’t get battered. edit: I mean Sunday Edited May 17 by Superior Acuña

Definitely, obviously Saka is playing this time, but if we put in the same level of performance, like we did in both legs of the semis and the final, then we are a match for any team. Ironically, they need City to win tomorrow to give them something to play for.

Scoreboard82
Am I right in saying that barring a heavy loss at Arsenal then we finish above any of Chelsea, Villa, Forest providing we match whichever of those teams results on the last day? My head hurts.

My head hurts. Depends on Forest's result on Sunday, as if they don't win l, then we likely don't even need another point to finish above them. Chelsea if we lose, we would need to match their result and keep ahead in the goal difference (we have scored more goals so finishing level will mean we still finish ahead) and Villa we just have to match their result. My head hurts. Yeah, assuming by March you also mean by GD as well. Let’s say we have a narrow loss against Arsenal, Chelsea could win by 4 goals compared to us winning 1-0, and they would be above us. However it would be very very unlikely that Villa would make up what is essentially 15 goal difference, and Forest simply wouldn’t be able to catch us on points regardless. toontownman
Will be classic Arsenal to bother showing up when we don't want them too. Should be a good game for the neutral. I'm ordering beta blockers lol
