I don’t mind Aston Villa or Forest or anyone else winning the CL.

But only after we’ve won it first.

This is the only correct anwer.

Huge if, but what happens if Manchester Red or London White win the Europa League? Six places in the Champions League?

And 7 if Villa win the CL and don’t get top 5.

Worth £200m to us if we qualify for the CL through the Europa though. All about that cash money.

How is that?

Prize money/revenue from Europa League, plus revenue of the Champions League next season, plus the increases in our sponsorship contracts for CL qualification is supposed to be anywhere from £180-230m.

Our wage bill will increase by 20-25% if we qualify though as well as the majority of our players are on those contracts.

I'm sure you'll all do your hardest to waste it in the summer.

Ok, EL prize money is pretty much non-existent, winner takes less than 10 million. But I take your word for it.

So to put it mildly: you are in the shit without UCL.

It's all going on Isak. He deserves Champions League football.

That's just for winning the final. We made over £20m in the group stage from prize money alone.

These tournaments are worth a fortune to teams.

Not sure he'll be happy playing second fiddle to Hojlund.

For a smaller teams even Conference League is. UEL really is not for a team like ManU. With your squad cost, CL is essential. Only point being in the EL is to win it and get back to CL. The hit your league form takes with it and each league position is woth couple of millions.

I know what you're saying, but it's far more lucrative for us to be in the Europa League rather than no European football whatsoever.

Gate receipts will worth a fair bit on top of prize money. Froggy and the boys can’t help but buy their Big Jim Popcorn when they’re over.
