Ellis H
As intense as this is, I’m still reminding myself to be grateful that it’s for Europe and not relegation. 3rd year in a row we’ve been chasing the champions league in the final month.
Joelinton7
- Win all of our home games gives us 68 points (with currently a +13 goal diff advantage over Villa). If we reached 68 Villa would currently need 12 points to overtake us which means them needing to win every game they have left (they would also need to overhaul our GD) - Beat Chelsea for me means they’re out of the race. They have the hardest run in (Everton, Liverpool, us and Forest) plus European games. - if we win all of the home games and get a point in any of the aways then it’s done for me. We make it. They wouldn't in your example, as they'd be 1 point ahead But yeah, 3 wins and a draw guarantees us ahead of Villa

Vaj
As mentioned, Ipswich game is huge. Win that and we are in a great position!

Aye, they probably prioritise our game regardless, but if they went over there and got turned over, the fans would go (even more) mad, and the pressure would get ramped up even further, so they probably have to give it some attention. Vaj
Means quite a lot to Maresca. He will get a nice payout if he gets sacked but if he wins the ECL he will have that on his CV going forward
Superior Acuña
Villa just drop 3 points and that means two wins and a draw sees us above them. I think we’ll finish ahead of them. One big thing is seeing if Chelsea put some wins together after that big Fulham win . I think we’ll do it. Not to tempt fate but as tight as it is, it could all end up being over a couple of games before the end if we beat Chelsea. At least in regards to them Edited April 22 by Superior Acuña
Hanshithispantz
Chelsea playing Forrest is huge, they're also still in the Conference, even playing a second string it's taking time and recourses away from the league. Forrest in the semis of the FA Cup then have a fairly quick turnaround of games. Biggest issue with Villa is they have a full week off for each game from now to the end of the season on top of a strong squad. They need to win all 4 realistically though. Geordie Ahmed
Bournemouth away is the game where you think Villa are most likely to drop points, think they win the other 3 especially as Spurs/ManU are distracted (they are crap too) Bournemouth will want to finish 8th as that could very well be Europa Conference spot but their recent form has been terrible
Kanj
Just need to be better over 5 than Chelsea and Villa. It’s that simple.

Villa will still likely win the other 3 games so that late goal for City last night was massive for us as Villa are still likely to get another 9/10 points . Optimistic Nut
Just beat Ipswich on Saturday. I reckon by the time our game is over the table will be: NUFC : 62 City : 61 Chelsea : 60 Forest : 60 (game in hand) Villa : 57 Would be tough for Villa to catch us from that, think only City, Forest & Chelsea would be capable. Beat Chelsea and I think we're there.
JT24
I hope we manage to qualify for UCL, either way it’s going to be an exciting (and nerve-wrecking) final few weeks. I think we’ll miss Howe but hopefully the work he’s put in behind the scenes gets us over the line and he can come back fresh whenever he’s ready. The Prophet
Forest v Brentford could be an absolute eye sore. Brentford are a really awkward team to play against and won't provide too much space for the Forest counter attack.
gbandit
Crystal Palace away for Forest is a tough fixture. Chelsea at home may be tricky for them too. Man City’s run in should be straightforward but let’s be honest, they’re an absolute shadow of their former selves. They could lose points to Bournemouth or Fulham Brighton away, Chelsea at home and Arsenal away are all difficult matches for us. I think we’ll get at least a draw at Brighton but I’d wager a win for us there. I think we’ll lose at Arsenal and draw or win against Chelsea. We win our other two games. Chelsea will lose to Liverpool at home and potentially away to Forest. I reckon the Chelsea Forest game is a draw. Villa drop points away to Bournemouth, either a draw or a loss

Optimistic Nut
Forest v Chelsea is such a handy last game for us as well as a fallback. As long as we keep within a point of both by the last day, it's in our hands.
