could really do with Liverpool showing up against Chelsea but I just can't see it

Chelsea were quite fortunate to beat an Everton team with nothing to play for today. Chelsea have been in pretty poorish form since January

Big ask for them to win four in a row.

Agreed, but the minimum we need is a Draw at Arseanl or Brighton and win our two home games and thats guaranteed unless Chelsea overturn our goal difference as all three could end up on 69 points.

I reckon we'll do it barring a collapse. A collapse is possible, but would be very uncharacteristic for us under Eddie Howe. This collapse would also have to come following a run where we've scored 18 goals in six games, four more than anyone else, 9 more than Forest, and 12 more than Chelsea.

The no. 1 form team in the league is Wolves, who play Man City at home next. City also play Fulham away. I don't quite get the idea of them being a shoo-in based on who they play.

Our game v Brighton and Chelsea at home v Pool could have any number of outcomes meaning all sorts of points situations going into the home game v Chelsea. I still don’t think it’s a given that Forest get top 5 yet and that final game v Chelsea looks like it’ll be huge.

It’s all still very tight but I fancy us to overpower Chelsea at home.

Lazio and Roma play in the same stadium let alone the same city. Swap one of them out for another team with two syllables and increase the geographical diversity of the song.

Neither Roma or Lazio are in the Champions League. This season or next.

Chelsea at home is the sort of fixture where we nearly always bring our A-game. I think we'll be relentless and swarm them, they are a bunch of fannies who don't like it up em and they'll fold.

Brighton away on the other hand is a fixture where we usually lay an egg. They've been pretty pish lately and don't have much to play for so I'm feeling a bit better going into it.

Arsenal will of course be tough and it'll be a tall order to beat them 4 times this season. A point there would be a bonus.

Everton at home on the final day should be a gimme, they're not great and they have fuck all to play for. If you can't beat a lower midtable team who are on the beach at home with CL football on the line then you probably don't belong in the CL.

There is actually a world where we qualify by beating Chelsea, all it'll take is:

Chelsea lose to Liverpool

Villa lose to Fulham

We beat Brighton

We beat Chelsea

Let's hope we don't fall into the conference league or it'll be:

Is this the way to Mlada Boleslav

Jagiellonia Białystok, Istanbul Başakşehir, TSC Bačka Topola

City aren’t dropping another point now so may as well cut them loose imo, sure they’ve drawn a few in 2025 but only Liverpool have beaten them this year and they always finish strong.

Rodri and Haaland back in training as well.

Man City only really have one game left where I think they may only get a draw. Their next game is Wolves and they are on a great run, I think they may pinch something against City. After that though, they'll win the rest.

I think 3rd is gone for us realistically as I don't see us winning 3 of the 4 games. I think we'll beat Chelsea and Everton, but who knows what Brighton will be and Arsenal is still a worry.
