You just have to read back through the thread and match threads.

There's a good few that can't wait to tell us all how they knew he was always shit and how he should be sold asap.

Yes, we know he struggles with consistency and the mental side of the game.

The goal will continue to be to get him stronger in those areas as he matures, because when he's on he can be a terror both going forward and defensively.

That’s just this place, online and fans in general, mind.

They seem happier to be proven right. Even if it means the team is suffering.

It has happened with Ramsey and Elanga and it crops up in the Howe thread every now and then. Usually something like the below

“I want them to prove me wrong, but……”

No you don’t

Reading in the match thread from people that are at the games, it sounds like it's the same there as well.

One thing I know for certain, is that I will never again have an issue with a player that makes a fuss about wanting to go elsewhere once things are going well for them and there's interest.

A lot of fans aren't very loyal or supportive at all, when a player is struggling, but will demand it from the players when it suits them. It's farcical.

There's a balance to be struck, but yes there's truth in this. A lot of our supporters are arseholes.

Just watched the Burnley match. He’s back. Could have had a hat trick and they just couldn’t live with him.

He didn't seem to be cutting inside so much, quite a few times he was rinsing the fullback on the outside and off down the line which was decent. Seemed a lot more aggressive in his running and play too.

I think should start both Barnes and Gordon vs Leverkusen and Sunderland. Probably Barnes on the right. Sub Barnes off when he gets tired. Gordon had his rest recently and he should be able to play 90 minutes for both games if needed.

You recon. 🤣🤣

Biggest positive about that shit showing is he's hopefully not involved for the derby.

An absolute busted flush. Take away a few pen conversions and he's contributed pretty much fuck all in a calendar year apart from a couple of red cards.
