Nucasol
From Eddie: On Anthony Gordon: "He's got a slight injury. I think it's only a small one, but enough for him not to feel comfortable travelling today, so let's wait and see."
The Prophet
I'd wager him and Botman will be fine for City.

I think that is Howe for "We wanted to rest him against opposition we can beat without him." He's just to polite to say that.

McDog
I saw him in the USA in a friendly and I thought he was talented but a subsection on here completely lost their shit when we put a bid in. I'm not calling anyone out nor am I proclaiming I am sort of football scout. I am not. I just thought he looked pretty good but holy hell the reactions. Everyone is behind him now which is all that matters.
McDog
Does that really put him in the top 1%?

AyeDubbleYoo Posted Wednesday at 09:07 Share Posted Wednesday at 09:07 Bit of a shock he’s wearing the Liverpool training top.
Lush Vlad Posted Wednesday at 09:20 Share Posted Wednesday at 09:20 He comes across so well off the pitch. On it, not so much. His diving and body language (NO™️) do my head in.

CPL
He made some superb link up passes and I love how he twists his way out away from the defender. Very solid first 45 but faded second half as did the whole team.

Yorkie
Glad this got bumped because I forgot that he was absolutely brilliant in that first half. So direct, tricky and dangerous. He's so good at getting the ball forward at times. Not for the first time this season he didn't get on the scoresheet when he really deserved too. If Tino doesn't leather the ball quite so hard in the first half, it's a tap-in, then you've got Wilson refusing to pick his head up right at the end for another. Newcastle Fan
Every time i see him play i feel like there is still something missing! he's improved his end product and puts a lot of effort on the pitch but i think there is still a lot he can improve on especially in the final third. AyeDubbleYoo
He’s in the conversation for our best player IMO. Such a clever player, technically good and dangerous throughout most games. Big fan.

He’d be in it if his form matched last season. I liked him more today though, he was back to cutting inside neatly and driving us on in that first half. Much better from him
Heron
I find him canny frustrating this season tbh. Feel like he's never really got going with any real consistency. Clearly a very good player and when he's on his game he's unplayable, just don't think he's found the form he had prior to the Euros.
Smal
I think he’s better in the games where Hall is able to get forward and provide the width for Gordon to make runs inside more often. Movement is the best part of his game, so it’s a bit limiting when he ends up having to hang out on the touchline. Edited 4 hours ago by Smal
papo
The way he made way to Willock before Isak scored the 4th was really unique. Really liked it, clever stuff. Wasn’t used to it.
