Weezertron
His mindset seems elite if you believe all the interviews. His football just needs to match it in terms of consistency. The winger situation is still a bit of a mess at the club, like. It's such a shit headache to have.

Dr.Spaceman
I think it's more the fact that we've got about 4 people who can regularly play on the left and only 1 on the right.

Things aren't working? Take off Murphy, move Barnes to RW and sub Gordon onto the LW. I'm not criticising tactics, but I can't imagine that move is a surprise to any opposition manager. Not sure it ever bears much fruit either.
Dr.Spaceman
Issue there is you're nullifying Barnes biggest strength. We've still went with far worse over the years but it would be much better if we had a proper right winger as backup, surely.
HayDen Traces
Could Gordon play more as a #10 to accomodate them both (in a 4-2-3-1)? Play Gordon behind Isak with Barnes left and Bruno and Tonali sitting central? Could be worth trying while big Joe is injured

It would be an odd move.

Newcastle Fan
He seemed more interested in rolling around the floor and diving today than actually playing football, really poor performance from him after waiting a while to start.

Kilcline
Thought he was top drawer off the ball today, in the first half in particular, was always moving to block the pass to Palmer

M4
His flopping routine is horrific. Whatever the contact, it's drop, bend knees up and squirm about. Really embarrassing that he isn't at all interested in cutting that out his game.

Really helped set the tone. It was the game I could see him having at a crucial time in our run in, much more like his old self. Just need him to return to putting that out consistently now. Sibierski
Anyone got a replay of the challenge on him before the goal? Convinced it was a pen / foul because Caicedo was wrong side. Think that’s the part of his game I enjoy, the hard running behind. Always from word go at home and opposition hate it, why his record is so impressive at home against the top sides. Needs to improve his overall end prospect (said it end of last season), where it’s the goals and shots. Gets into positions so often that if he had quality to whip a shot in, he could score so many. khay
I'm not going to defending his rolling after. but Caicedo went clear through him at least twice like.
