I really see no reason for him to move to Liverpool right now. They are not winning titles or paying much more to him than us.

Well they won one last season, thats a lot more than us [emoji38]

Trent was crying when Klopp left, Salah and Van Dijk are aging out, Slott could be a potential disaster. Plus they have two left wingers in Gakpo and Diaz. This would be the worst time to join Liverpool. If Grealish is 100 Mil, Gordon is 150. They don’t have the money. Hopefully they go for Bakayoko at PSV or something.

Don't believe that guy, but just wondering

Is Gordon a Liverpool fan? Noticed he said Anfield was his favourite PL ground apart from ours in an England interview.

He was in their academy as a kid.

Don’t see why Liverpool want him at the moment when they have money tied up in Diaz and Gakpo for LW, heck even Nunez can play there.

Got more pressing areas they need to sort out first, including getting VVD/TAA on new deals.

From "him!?" to "him!" and within 18 months going from arguing he's a good back up option to arguing he won't go to Liverpool.

Pause for thought on Howe (Nickson and whoever else)'s eye for a player we're nonchalant about

Quote

“My biggest concern was that we’d lose Alex (Isak) or Anthony (Gordon) because Liverpool chased him and both are extraordinary players,” Staveley says. “Negotiating is tough because you have to pretend it means nothing to you when it means everything.”

Direct quote from Staveley, re: whether Liverpool were approaching us and whether we were taking the possibility of Gordon leaving seriously.

Does Hope and Jones never talk about their jobs? Because all Jones is doing is writing stuff out of the blue every article.
