Booked transport to London and desperate to get in. Flew over from Canada last time, at least I’m just going from Newcastle this time.  The resales are really silly right now, a lot more than I paid last time. Too much, need them to come down . Still, I’ll prob move into my parents a couple of months if necessary

obviously praying I’ll get through ballot

Try and score a ticket through my usual channels. Not sure I want to pay the discounted rate of circa £500-600 again for Club Wembley.

If not, I’m considering coming up to Newcastle to watch it. The missus can see her Aunty and nieces in Whitley Bay. I can go out on the smash all day with her Aunty’s fella who is an NUFC fan.

Loads of Spurs and Liverpool round here. Would be too painful if we lose.

500 to 600 would be a steal lowest I’ve seen is a grand for general admission at the min.

Prices for the Manchester Derby final and Liverpool v Chelsea in last years final were nowhere near this, clearly cashing in on the black and masses again.

Through a mate’s uncle last time. He got it as some kind of benefit involved with his bonus from work. So massively reduced. Was meant to be 1500-2000 I think.

Gonna go into full ADHD hyperfocus to get a ticket for Wembley, but I know my usual sources can’t help out this time so I’ll need to get creative

If that fails I’ll probably go to Berlin for the Fender gig and watch the final over there full of pilsner and hot German sausage. Then on to Amsterdam before heading back to NE29 as a hollowed out shell of a human

Wouldn’t be the wurst alternative if I have no joy with a match ticket

Will you be having anything to eat whilst you're there as well?

Can anyone remember how they allocated the tickets last time

Sure it was loyalty points first? Then cup scheme then a ballot?

Period 1 was 25pts + 1 cup game that season, I think. Not sure the cup scheme was a thing back then? In fact I'm convinced it came in for this reason.

Official club comms about the 2023 criteria are still online if you do a search for it, I was looking last week

Yeah, there was no cup scheme last time, they based it on whether you’d got a ticket for previous rounds (there was no ballots then either).

I think ST holders that haven’t enrolled in the cup scheme are gonna have a serious problem this time.

*think if you have enrolled, you’ll be guaranteed one.

Probably be first dibs for cup scheme and whoever has been to one or both of the away cup games , then everyone else in the cup scheme .  After that I reckon they might just do a ballot for members and season ticket holders that didn't enrol in the cup scheme.

I reckon we will find out tomorrow either way as last time it was literally the day after we beat Southampton that they released all the allocations .

Booked Paddington Basin premier inn after the first leg, then booked trains from York > KGX yesterday after full time.  £100 return - Saturday 11AM - Monday 11AM - first class on the way back for some reason were just as cheap.

As for ticket, I've put out the feelers across everyone I know for anyone who's not bothering, and my mate who is club wembley too, alongside corporate contacts.  Hoping they include members who's been to cup games into the fray this time round to at least be included in the ballot, but not getting my hopes up.

Absolute worst case, I'll watch it in The Dolphin or something in London
