Financial Fair Play / Profit & Sustainability - New APT Rules Approved by Premier League

Sticks in the craw nasty when it’s there in black & white

So NUFC had a stated aim of not competing and was massively underinvested with an owner giving away sponsorship for nowt in an Associated Party Transaction.

We get new owners and suddenly an emergency financial ripcord is pulled by the cartel because PIF’s ability to improve NUFC is “anti-competitive”

FUCK OFF YOU CUNTS

The PL is squarely in the shit due to rushing through rules that directly prevented a single club from investing and competing. The red-tops are calling the shots and any hassle and shit that comes the way of the PL can be traced directly back to them. I actively want the whole thing to collapse and the entire rulebook ripped up and rewritten so it supports clubs from shit owners AND allows any club to match another in terms of spending and investing

So with the current rules being unlawful and no new ones being voted in any time soon, what is the actual current situation with respect to FMV testing of APT?

No one knows for sure, including Man City's or the PL's legal teams, until the tribunal makes it's final decision and/or it's played out in other challenges.

I really don't know what would happen right now if we put forward something like a £10m training kit sponsor, which would match Spurs' latest deal. It's high, but not outrageous.

We don’t look any closer to actually having a training kit sponsor, let alone one which might challenge FMV

Didn’t know you were on the commercial team or management board..?

Wouldn’t sell my house if there was a huge legal battle underway that might mean stamp duty rules were scrapped. Wait and see what happens, then act

If I took as much time to sort things out as this lot I’d have been fired.

Peter Silverstone went to Saudi with the squad yesterday, I doubt he’s went for the warm weather training.

I don't think the PL will be in a position to sign off on any deals until new rules are in place. There might well be a number of deals the PL are just sitting on.

Might have gone to make up the numbers, only about 8 first team players there [emoji38]

It's not sexy but probably the only position we can take bearing in mind all these rules have been invented to keep us down. We aren't Spurs, if we spend a penny which isn't legally watertight, they'll come after us with everything they've got.
