FFS. Gat a grip everyone.

We probably have £100M in sponsorship deals awaiting approval on Master's desk with us threatening a court case to follow on from Man City's. If we are close to ffp then it is down to Masters & the PL not allowing the sponsorship deals. Its a smoke screen to highlight the cartel stranglehold.

We need everyone together. Stop saying they are incompetent. They know what they are doing.

Of course it may be that they are playing us because we may have a deal for 'The Aramco Arena' or the 'Saudia Stadium' and trying to show the worst case scenario first. Anyone pick a Gordon sale over St James with 30 hours to go

Whatever it is this a play by the club, I'm sure of it

Sir ratface refusing to pay the constant gardener would have fucked our plans too

We need a statement. Ideally released Wednesday just gone.

Lots of noise about us breaching PSR and trying to sell anything that isn't nailed down, buy no actual movement. Something doesn't add up.

Absolutely agree, something really doesn’t add up, there is no way we would have waited until now to start trying to move players on, if we were that far in breach of FFP. All of theses leaks are coming from the SlyNews lackeys, it’s almost as if they are trying to unsettle our players, the Gordon one makes no sense as that would have been all over the local Liverpool journalists before slynews keith popped up

Thats because theres nothing in it, media fluff to sell papers/clicks while nothing is happening because of the euros

We've seen it every year with our best players

We’ve never been that disorganised before, since the take over the term well oiled springs to mind to me.

Agreed there's something just totally bizarre about all of this its entirely discombobulating.

48 hours ago, we needed to make one sale to everton of our top prospect and we were in the clear. Now its Isak, Gordon et al, with bizarre swap deals being floated. Something strange is afoot

I think PIF have pulled the plug more than anything.

No movement on training ground, no movement on stadium expansion, no training kit partner signed up (even within FMV rules - why haven’t they matched the £8m for sleeve sponsorship via Noon?)

Funding definitely isn’t where expected outside of putting equity in to cover day to day costs.

Maybe because clubs no we are desperate and won’t pay the asking price.

Has the backlash, and subsequent forced painting of STACK tipped us into the red?

Need a statement about why we used Dulux when we could have made a saving using Johnstones now imo.

We were fine, but apparently the company doing the Feasibility Study on the SJP expansion charge by the hour and now we owe them £30m

Aye, but if we were absolutely desperate, why would we rigidly stick to our asking prices?

It'll be fascinating to see how it plays out.

talking about our owners and Villa's owners as having 'fucked up' because they spent and got their teams into the champions league but spent a bit too much relative to permitted income to comply with ridiculous new rules designed especially to do this to clubs like us and Villa - is normalising this bullshit far too much. Even if that's the world were in now.

Its like saying someone 'fucked up' by having their left arm offside

How come?

Well, it has surely dawned on them that they can't realise their ambitions with the club. If we're forced to sell Gordon, think that firmly establishes that 5-7th will be the typical ceiling for us and pretty much every other non-cartel club.

Got no doubt the PL would be beside themselves with joy if PIF binned us and bought Arsenal instead.

You can guarantee it wouldn’t take 18 months to approve.

Spurs sold their best players to get into the cartel. There’s nothing to suggest anything right now about our “grand plan”. Just wait it out and see what happens then start the post-mortem when it’s clear what’s going on
