Newcastle United 6-1 Tottenham Hotspur (23/04/2023)

I find it a bit strange that Spurs are trapped in this narrative of failure to meet expectations... when have they ever been consistently good?

They would be better off getting rid of Kane, Son and whoever else and restructuring their club to build and progress sustainably.

I really don't think they're a club who should be finishing in the top 4 every season, it will come and go.

Lots of the media since yesterday, seem to be more concerned with how 'bad' things are at Spurs, rather than how well we are doing.  Good for us to be keep on going under the radar

 Every time without fail. We've battered Chelsea, Man United, Spurs, Man City (despite it only being a draw), Brentford, and Villa at home. At some point you'd think that they'd realise it wasn't just that all of these teams were just having 'off days'

Kane and Son are completely propping them up and when he goes they'll go to complete shite.

Only had about 2 good games this season. He's either finished or there's something seriously wrong with him aside from being a snide cunt. Loved seeing Fab Schar just knock him out the way for Murphy's second.

Literally just laughed out loud at goal 5. Even my dad who's first match was 1965 said he'd never seen anything like it in his life. Was just a brilliant 20 minutes.

how about adding a favourite goal poll?  Isaks first just edges out Murphys screamer for me.

Feel we'll still be talking about Isak's first years from now.

Some cracking other goals but that pass from Willock is going to stand the test of time.

Obviously Murphy's hit was a delight, but I wish there was an angle from behind him. I can't quite evaluate whether it was an amazing shot or whether Lloris fucked it / couldn't see it or something.

yeah it was out of this world.  Joelinton touches to go round the keeper were outstanding too. I think I'd rank them in order:

Isaks 1st

Murphy 2nd

Joelinton

Isaks 2nd

Murphy 1st
