Miercoles
Let's be honest, Howe wouldn't have played him until next year

Only just seen his goal and assist at OT. Both well taken but it's only Man U. Hope he can nail a starting spot and stay injury-free. Brighton have a lot of options at RW - March, Aindgra,Enciso, Gruda, Rutter. Brighton are hoarding these talented boys in certain positions. Same issue at 10. It's not squad building, it's just revenue generation. At 10 they have JP, Rutter, Enciso, Buonnotte(sp?), O'Riley - probably more I'm forgetting. I don't think it's going to work for most of the boys as they won't get enough game time or play in the wrong position. Buonnotte lad looks a good player but his Leicester loan is turning to shit. Positively, we should be able to unsettle some of these talented lads pretty easily and get them for a decent fee. Outside of JP none of those lads get consistent minutes. I doubt we'd get them for a decent fee once they've gone to Brighton. The time to get them would be before they got their hands on them like happened with Minteh. Lenny Posted Saturday at 18:27 Share Posted Saturday at 18:27 I mean, it was an inflated price and a risk from Brighton, but he's 20. Maybe a touch early to be claiming the W on this one
The College Dropout Posted Saturday at 18:44 Share Posted Saturday at 18:44 That Gruda lad is another £20m signing. 20 years old. I don’t see how you can develop Minteh, Gruda, JP, Rutter and all the others at the same time.

But people 2+ seasons will still rave about their business.

Which is why I think there’s good pickups available there this summer or next. They can’t develop all of them
joeyt Posted Saturday at 19:06 Share Posted Saturday at 19:06 Brighton don't seem to have moved forward at all this season. They seem a much easier touch than in previous seasons Think the jury is still out on their manager

aussiemag Posted Sunday at 14:09 Share Posted Sunday at 14:09 I think 30 mill for Minteh was a fair price. Hes an unproven high potential players.
