Seems like bollocks to me. 
 

The club stood by him through the betting scandal. Fans have been over the top supportive despite him not really performing a great deal. 
 

You can imagine he’s eager to play more but it would be a bit of a cunt thing to do to want to leave. I don’t see it. 
 

It also seems like a standard Italian media lie but we’re all so bogged down with how shit things are at the minute it probably seems plausible to too many people.

I can see him going back to Italy one day but seems the type to want to repay us for sticking by him not sure if that extends beyond a season or two but just have to enjoy him while we have him.
