Lush Vlad
Big miss. He was everywhere first half. Kudus gave up trying to run him a couple of times.
TRon
I was a bit concerned he was the one coming off tbh. We really missed his bite and recovery pace in the centre.
Lush Vlad
Aye. Hopefully nowt serious. We’re a different side entirely without him in it.
Ashley17
He got the knock quite early and played on for probably over 30 minutes, so hopefully nothing that keeps him out too long
TRon
Not sure about Tonali's defensive work at the moment, he seemed to lose his man quite easily a couple of times in the closing stages. He basically cost us both goals. If I were a betting man....
Rich
Does far more good than bad defensively, it’s his use of the ball that drives me potty. For someone who’s constantly telling others to calm down, he can’t wait to fire a quick pass to the opposition when we need him to put his foot on it. Gate4
His energy levels right now are zero, especially for his standards. At this point what is even the point in playing him? Looked absolutely tragic at the late goal we conceded and has been looking bad for a while.
duo
At fault for the second goal sadly - knackered or not he needed to do better

madras
Seems like the last few weeks hes became more of a runner/coverer with less presence on the ball.

He hasn't been his normal self but on 3 occasions made great interception or tracked back to put pressure on attacker. I just don't think his intensity is sustainable for a season and its showing. He's running hard as ever, but his control of the ball seems off, and he's not able to keep possession like he should be doing.

He slipped on the edge of their box and then ran 80 yards to massively help out the defence and stop them scoring. Along with the countless other recovery runs he made. On the ball he has been wasteful and seems far less involved. But his workrate hasn’t dropped off at all IMO.

Gallowgate Toon
He's not really played much lately, has he? His baby is due any moment now, right? Could be playing on his mind.
London Mag
His form has dipped massively since being moved to right. Played all his best football in the centre

Yorkie
Thought he was barely a 6 out of ten tonight. He got sold on the dummy for the equaliser which was forgivable imo, but it was how sloppy he was in possession. Usual off-the-ball tenacity of course. duo
He's not hit the form before he got ill. Edited December 11, 2025 by duo
AJ9
Sloppy tonight with his passing. Didn’t seem to impose himself on the game. Bit of a concern but I think we need a change in midfield. Miley needs to play with him.
Geogaddi
He has always been a bit sloppy with the ball and prone to giving it away. It's his only weakness really but he does seem to be doing it a lot more at the minute which is why it's getting highlighted by so many people . Still think he's our best player and needs to be in the side especially away from home.
Andy84
Just not in form, maybe carrying a niggle/illness and his bairn coming along soon. He’s also played a lot of football, no great concerns imo

Hang on it is early, let me just get this straight, you have just stated Sandro Tonali looked absolutely tragic? This was the match last night? I mean it would trigger a similar response if it was about him on a football pitch anytime ever. But this was the game where he covered every blade of fucking grass. Multiple recovery runs and interceptions in our own box. Where he slipped outside their box but was still the first man back in ours? That Sandro Tonali? Picking one moment in a game to characterise his entire performance is like saying did you see him fall over, waste of space, can’t even stay on his feet. Do you actually rate any of our midfield?
