TaylorJ_01
Sounds like they also loaded them with nitrous oxide. He's some boy Tonali. If he worked on his passing slightly more than drugging hookers and match fixing we'd be golden.

To be fair Tonali was probably meant to be passing the balloons to his teammates and kept passing them to the brasses instead.

After massive investments in the summer of 2025 and the club's failure to qualify for the Champions League, the PIF-owned club requires a significant sacrifice and has valued the former AC Milan player at no less than €100 million, nearly double the €58.9 million he paid in 2024. Tuttomercatoweb reports." Do you think that "have officially" is true? Tuttomercatoweb isn't the most reliable Italian site but it's often been spot on in the past. It's not strictly true. it seems he wants to leave and if we receive a reasonable offer we will sell. The rules mean we have to be more prudent financially . duo
I'm sure selling Gordon will be enough for us to comply. Whether he wants to stay is another matter

Yes, it seems strange to me because generally those "press releases" are made independently of the player's will...that's why I was asking if anything had come out in the English press. TRon
I actually think Tonali will still be here next season. I think we would let him go if we get a very good offer, but I don't know that we will, at least not in time for us to buy a replacement. Agree with @duo that selling Gordon will be enough from our side, any other sales of our top players would have to be on our terms and I can see Man U trying to lowball us. Not sure there are any other interested parties.

AyeDubbleYoo
Selling Gordon, Tino and Tonali while also needing several other replacement players would certainly be interesting.

I know it'd make Eddie break out in hives but the longer we put off the clearout and wholesale buying summer the longer we're going to be underwhelming. duo
Same - Tonali is a class player. We've seen what he can do - just not performed consistently this season but same could be said of most the squad.

We definitely don't have to sell him, we have other players who we either want to let go OR are closer to an exit.
Barnes23
Maybe it's a case of we feel selling him will be necessary to fund the scale of the rebuild we have planned (in addition to Gordon going). Not sure about that though

It's probably as you say, but the money you all think you're getting from Gordon is unrealistic.
Curva Sud Milano
However, there is no news here in Italy that he wants to leave... the newspapers say that you want/have to sell him.
