NUFC Transfer Rumours

Just can’t see Fraser going- he’s on too much money with us, unless we start subsidising some of it. Celtic pay nothing like his current wage.

edit- and I think he’s got another 2 years left on his contract?

Aye, contract doesn't expire until 2025.

Really? Seems like he’s been here forever. Thought it be up in 12 months. Definitely the priority player to shift if EH sees no way back for him.

Wait until you realise Hayden's contract runs for another three years

Signed a 6 year deal in 2020. Mike Ashley special.

Fuck off man. Even at £40k a week, that’s £6m of dead space on the wage bill. Him and Fraser are £13m across the life of their contracts, that could pay the top two earners on our wage bill for a season rather than reserve parasites.

He wasn't much of one for Norwich last year. And no Champ club can afford his wages.

Not that i'm disagreeing with you, but wasn't he crocked most of last season?

Hayden will be another that will leave with good graces, he was vital for us in getting promoted and staying up. Shame he had 0 technical ability when on the ball, as he was half decent at breaking play up in the middle of the pitch under Rafa.

Because he’s probably shown that he would. No way were Norwich going to pay him £50k per week, and he agreed to go there.

We agreed to pay £30k of his £50k for Norwich. He didn’t drop any money?

If he had a year left he'd probably go with the guarentee of a longer contract on lower wages - particularly with his injury record threatening his longevity. But 3 years guarentee on 50k a week he's not going anywhere. Even if we do move him on we'll be either paying a proportion of those wages for years or paying him off.

Speaking of Fraser, how has he fallen out with EH twice? He seemed like an important option the season we stayed up and once glowing about EH’s training methods compared to Bruce so why has Eddie decide to discard him again? Also pretty obvious Fraser was “the mole” imo

He was yes, but that's part of the problem. It makes it even less likely that cash strapped Championship clubs are going to invest money on him after his injury.

Again I doubt he would have got that if he signed for them, maybe for the initial loan period. If it was for a longer period of time, then maybe we can keep that offer to get him off the books?

So there’s zero evidence he would sign for less money then? Just can’t see him giving up a three year £50k per week contract. We’re definitely going to have to subsidise wages if these players ever move to the championship.
