His agent was at Old Trafford yesterday for the match.

Good, when he saw the state of that team and leaky tin hut they call a stadium he'll not want his player anywhere near it.

Sesko isn't going to happen. We aren't going to drop 70m+ on a guy who plays in the same position as Isak. Unless Isak leaves.

I think there’s going to be a reality check about how much we can spend this summer. We’re already committed to spending a chunk on Hall.

Would like a CM, but if Howe is all in on Miley, maybe not needed. Just feel it’s an area where there’s potential for growth for what we’ve got currently, but also one that’s currently level below what we need.

So it’s either trust the guys remain injury free, step up a level, or be ruthless, move one on (probably Willock how the season unfortunately has gone) and sign a replacement the club view as a must.

Not sure what type of midfielder that would be though. Could be a more defensive one that fees up Bruno, more technically gifted small one that’s great with the ball, or a box to box.

Personally, would prefer one that’s a specialist when operating deeper. Allowing Bruno the freedom to drift a bit further forward without a massive gap being left behind in front of the defence.

If we get Kelly and Tosin in, I’d be happy with a top quality RW and nothing else tbh. If we get that and keep Bruno and Isak I think we can have a really good season.

I still think we need to sell Wilson for 20M or thereabouts and spend a bit on a second striker. Isak can´t play the whole season himself, he needs a quality back-up, or even partner to mix things up up front. We need reliability up front and not such injury prone back up...

Agree about Tosin, Kelly and a top quality RW. I just can’t see how we can go into neither season with Wilson and Isak as strikers as Wilson is permaninjured. Need another option if Wilson stays.

That’s why I would love to go for Mbuemo. Excellent on the RW and does a very good job as striker.

This.

What people need to realise is that when everyone keep saying "Amortisation means we can spend £40m on a player, as over his 5 year contract that's only only £8m/year + wages", because we've already done that for multiple players in past years so we still have all those £8m/year+wages to pay next year and the year after too.

You can't just keep repeating the trick and ignoring the subsequent years' payments after year 1, as almost everyone on here seems keen to do.

Yes we'll hopefully increase revenue too, but not by enough to make all this irrelevant.

Isak/Wilson would be fine if we were not in Europe, but dropping £10m or so on a young prospect striker wouldn't be beyond our means.
