Gordon, Barnes, Isak, Roque, New RW, Murphy and Osula is hardly an embarrassment of riches for the front three, like.

 

We're all collectively just used to having no depth at all so it seems like it is.

There isn't a single reason why you'd pick Thiaw over Guehi like. Thiaw is what, 20-30m less and a COMPLETE toss up if he's going to adapt? The difference in price is basically made up with the familiarity and consistency Guehi brings.

Not the strongest source, but intrigued by the level of detail in there. Especially that Mitchell had an eye on him at Monaco.

 

Looked a handful at the Euros and was fun to watch. Absolute power house and impossibly quick. Also played like he had more lungs than the rest of us.

 

Really like that he can play upfront too, like he did for Turkey. 

 

Very much an Eddie Howe player.

 

Won't be the creator some want on the right wing though.

Does he play RW for Gala? If so, they are apparently about to sign Sara from Norwich so maybe something in this link.

I hope Tonali can control the game from midfield, because if Bruno misses any games we are going to struggle big time.

Tonali isn't someone who quietly controls games, and I have long argued we need a defensive mid who can do that, even if it's just for plan b cos Howe's plan A isn't to have such a midfielder, it's all action high pressing players all the way through so I doubt we will go out and buy one unfortunately

I think they use him all over, but his main position has been on the right side I think.

 

Sara is a great signing for them. He mostly plays centrally though, although he can play on the right too.

 

Hard to say if the two are correlated.

Tonali seems to be more of an action man right sided midfielder than purely central. Lots of fast movement and quick passing rather than puttting the foot on the ball and dictating from the centre.
