ikri
Isn't Cunha looking at a significant ban for attacking an Ipswich staff member? Decent player but if he gets less than a 12 match ban he'll be laughing.

Whitley mag
Feel like Bakayoko would be the best we can hope for in Jan if we can find some wriggle room, or we can get a loan to buy option on someone.

Think his contract is up in Summer 2026 so PSV may be looking to sell - did similar with Gakpo

That would be an excellent signing. Hopefully we can sell Miggy too.

Wouldn’t actually be surprised if he’s a success again once he gets away from the toxic environment that’s currently surrounding him, but even ignoring finances, given pressing is clearly not one of his strengths, it’s never going to be here. He needs to look at himself in the mirror too - not exactly set the world alight last few years
JEToon
I wouldn’t be overly pissed off if we’d signed another Man U player on an expiring contract like, more so given we need a CB Edited December 17, 2024 by JEToon

It’s not even necessarily a Man Utd thing (although their record in this regard since Ferguson left is dreadful), it might just be more about moving away from the area and is whatever is or isn’t going on around him. Still, it’s a monumental risk for anyone unless he agrees to a dramatic wage cut.

Tiresias
Rashford's wages seem astronomical for most in the league, they'll find it hard to shift him. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he did really well for a midtable solid team built around his strengths with a good positive manager and less pressure and less of a basket case club with less scrutiny. This is not to say he has been blameless, but the narrative that he's shit seems to come from that that, he is not an absolutely top tier talent no , but he is better than he has been. In right environment he can score plenty of goals, he has shown that. Unfortunately very few clubs can afford his wages.
Geogaddi
Never got the hype with Rashford , had about two good seasons in his career hasn't he, 375 grand a week as well, I will be really surprised if anyone is stupid enough to match them wages. nemtizz
His ego is far too large to join a midtable team and none of the top teams will want him. PSG incoming.
