Mazzy Posted Thursday at 18:21 Share Posted Thursday at 18:21 (edited) Who would you take from this? Not including the Liverpool players because we all know where they are off to. David is the obvious one that sticks out. Wilson out and David in would be excellent (although he'd probably want to be first choice, so could be a no go). Gomes feels like a good one if Longstaff is going, but does he suit Howe's physical style. If Lascelles leaves, Tah would be a decent replacement, but we'd still need another CB in as well. Ellis H Posted Thursday at 19:19 Share Posted Thursday at 19:19 Mitchell would be ideal if he’s happy being a squad player. Assuming Trippier is off we’d have Targett, Krafth and Burn as backup full back options but their contracts expire next summer (according to nufc.com). He’d replace Targett and Krafth immediately, meaning we can try to sell them now.

Menace Posted Thursday at 19:33 Share Posted Thursday at 19:33 Walker Peters and Mitchell would be decent on frees. Same with Gomes and David who I imagine have half of Europe after them
STM Posted Thursday at 19:33 Share Posted Thursday at 19:33 Mitchell is the least inspiring player on that list but also would be a great free signing for us. There's going to be games when Hall needs a rest, or god forbid he gets a long term injury. Having a proper PL left back who is pretty much good in all aspects of being a left back, would be a major positive IMO. The best thing about free transfers is that they free up capital for other, more needed, areas of the pitch. Isn't KWP also out of contract? He can play RB and LB. Skeletor Posted Thursday at 19:35 Share Posted Thursday at 19:35 Mitchell, Gomes and David the ones to target. David and Gomes would add much needed depth with only a signing on outlay. Would be incredible business.
Funtime Frankie Posted Thursday at 19:39 Share Posted Thursday at 19:39 Lamptey on a free is also available. He's played LB a few times for Brighton maybe a good option to cover Hall and Livramento

Dr.Spaceman Posted Thursday at 21:24 Share Posted Thursday at 21:24 Imagine Tariq Lamptey after 6 months of an Eddie Howe training regime, he'd come walking out like a prime Ahmed Johnson ready to dish out some pain to the oppositions left side. Joelinton7 Posted Friday at 11:44 Share Posted Friday at 11:44 Well if they wanted Isak then they’d give us Saka, Rice, Saliba, Gabriel and Lewis-Skelly plus £200m. Time wasters.
