I haven't seen much of him apart from games against us, but he got caught a couple of times when he didn't track Tino last night
black_n_white
I just don't see Mbeumo being a player Eddie would want over someone who he can develop. Our scouts have clearly been watching him so he’s on the list.

Would be a complete opposite to Murphy, but his eye for a pass is exceptional. If he was French etc. he’d be viewed so differently by our fans. I’ll forever bang the English drum and the silly depths of talent in this country. They want 30 for Ben Doak who is playing in the championship, what makes you think they would go that low for Elliott? Unless he doesn’t have long left on his contract? But his overall game is only ok. I think we need someone that can really contribute to build-up and create. Mbeumo does create but not much of a build up player. WilliamPS
Mbuemo would come in and immediately provide another source of goals and assists in the PL. He is well proven now, would be an incredibly low risk signing. That also means he will cost. But am sure Howe would love such a banker of a signing. Any younger player picked from a lesser league might have a higher ceiling but will have a much higher risk of flopping - so that is the trade off. They don’t all work out, no matter how good the scouting is. Murphy has maybe made it more possible to take a bigger risk at RW as he has shown he can be dependable for what his game is. What I noticed on Wednesday was Mbeumo held the ball really well in the final third with his touch and quality. He may be out of form but his link up play with Wissa has been exceptional for ages

He’s the perfect fit at Nottingham with the perfect club/manager. Mbeumo is easily better but even then I’m not 100% sure on him for us. No question he has great end product. When you consider our ambitions and where we want and aim to go then we need to evolve even more. Especially technically, creatively and in possession. This doesn’t mean that “intensity is our identity” is wrong by any means, and I also love it. We need players that also improves us in general play, and that gives us more variety. Lush Vlad
Barnes isn’t a ‘kick and rush’ player. Not in the slightest. Totally different type of player to Murphy, either way.
ExiledGeordie
Definitely need a goal scoring RW and someone who is incisive in the final 3rd to help finish teams off/turn draws into wins.

Bimpy474
And, we've only drawn 5 league games out of 29 this season. And, only drew 6 out of 38 last season. Not sure the draws point works really, for last couple of seasons.

Ok I’ll rephrase that, we need a goal scoring winger who can help finish teams off when we’re on top 👍

For £60m it's a Spurs signing (Johnson, Richarlison, Solanke). High floor, low ceiling.
The College Dropout
We don't need any further G/A from RW. We need to maintain Murphy's output and increase but increase the overall quality and build-up. Murphy has 13 G/A. Without penalties, Mbeumo will be similar.

Bimpy474
I think Mmbop would be ace for us, not exactly a consensus on that clearly here. Whoever Eddie fancies to play down the right, be it Mmbop, Aramburu or whoever comes in, Eddie will improve them immensely.

Pilko
I like Mbuemo, but just think there's bound to be better value for money out there when you look at the fees cited. I wouldn't be complaining if we signed him as I think he'd do very well for us, but I also think it might hinder our spending power in other key areas (CB, GK for instance) if we drop the cited £50-£60m on him. andycap
We need quality on the right wing not another work hard type like Murphy/ almiron. A game changer that can put teams to bed. We have a good mix on the left wing already so here's hoping we can find a unearthed gem or a quality addition.

Elliottman
Really excited for the Summer, think its going to be mint. They've had pretty much 2 years to prep for it, Mitchel 12 months. Be amazed if we dont make a couple of top class signings.
