They are hoovered up by the financial top 6 clubs. Not sure where that leaves us. Probably looking at the next level or 2 below that in the Premier League to secure players. We’ve literally got one of the best strikers in the world and one of best midfielders in the league but because Mbeumo decided to cash his chips in at the run down casino called Manchester United it’s suddenly a grim reality. STM Posted Tuesday at 16:29 Share Posted Tuesday at 16:29 I'm someone who doesn't mind us spending top dollar but 70m for Joao Pedro is excessive. If it was less than 65 I could see it. He's another player who can play across the front in a few positions. He'd also be a potential future proofing on the Isak front. Touch wood it isn't an issue for now, but it would be nice to know if either Isak gets a long term injury or he gets sold in 2/3 years, it would be nice to know we have some quality in that area.
