These are the sort of players we will target, ones who haven't been plucked by the "bigger" fish. Another player who's likely got his heart set on a move, is versatile and worth investing money in. What sort of fee has been rumoured?

He's a left footed right winger there that has had a good season and has drawn some premier league interest. Not seen enough of him to have any strong opinion, but the age and profile seems to fit with the type of winger we may look at. Problem with all things Strasbourg is that cunt Boehly and Chelsea’s feeder club relationship. They’ll get first dibs and spite match any competitive bids then loan them back. FIFA/UEFA have just sat back and let it happen with City Football Group and others.

They scared Man City off with a £100 million valuation. I'm looking forward to us doing the same with an impossibly high valuation for Tino too. Big fan of the likes of ourselves and Forest showing that we are not here to develop and supply players for these clubs, but to actually work towards challenging them. Hes an absolute sure thing in terms of risk but again it all comes back to whether we have the capacity to spend 70m or whatever on MGW and also have enough money to sign the other players we need. It would be difficult. They have that young Brazilian coming back next season and he plays on the right, and so they're quite stacked with options there. We also have a pretty good relationship with Chelsea at board level. And so doing business with them or their affiliate for players won't be an issue I don't think. AyeDubbleYoo Posted Wednesday at 09:05 Share Posted Wednesday at 09:05 Why are Chelsea even in for him if they are happy with their keepers and won't pay decent money? Milan forgot to put "no time wasters" on the ad?

Sibierski Posted Wednesday at 09:20 Share Posted Wednesday at 09:20 2 hours ago, Nucasol said: Need a minimum of 5 of decent quality for squad building. 2 immediate “battle ready” first team players who can come in and uplift the starting 11. No surprises these would be RW and RCB. A new GK could be useful but I’ve got less concerns on Neek Pope. However, he’s only got 1 year left on his contract and we either sell this summer to cash in, or accept we’ll get diminishing amounts going forward. If Trafford is the option, I’d sell Popey to Leeds and use the money to offset against Trafford’s purchase. Doesn’t look like the Greek wants to go to Saudi so it’ll be a loan with wages covered for him. Beyond that, we need one good CM to bridge the drop off in quality from the 3 top lads, and to allow rotation. This is a non-negotiable. Joelinton’s combative style means he missed 1 in every 3 through suspension or injury and we can’t replace him with the current players. I’d sell Willock and aim to replace with someone like an Ederson. We need a replacement for Wilson. Begrudgingly with all the other squad building we need, I think this will be Calvert-Lewin. Depending on Tripps we may also need a right back. Agree with this all, and think it will be a revolving situation of what comes available and what offers come in that starts everything and dictates other deals. Now they're back in the CL along with us and awash with money from the FIFA club cup, they probably see us as more of a direct competitor than before. The College Dropout Posted Wednesday at 09:26 Share Posted Wednesday at 09:26 We need 4 quality additions excluding a goalkeeper. Players capable of coming in and contributing greatly to another CL qualification and a good run in that comp. And apart from a CM or 2 and Wilson/Osula - that doesn’t include anyone leaving.
