NUFC Transfer Rumours

If they're going with Elanga at RW then I think Elliott would be great as a versatile option for the squad. He'd be a very useful option on the right, at 10 or in midfield at a stretch. Migtnt be what he's looking for though, he'd get more minutes than he would at Liverpool but not as many as he would at a mid table side.

Elliot in place of Longstaff wouldn't be awful

From a financial standpoint it would be. We'd get peanuts for Longstaff and have to pay Liverpool something heinous to get Elliot. Last thing I'd like us to do is give Liverpool even more PSR headroom (not that they lack it anyway).

He's got some ability but from what I've read Arne Slot doesn't think he fits into the phsyical profile they want at Liverpool, i.e. pace and power. That doesn't sound like he'd be our type of player either, even less so if anything. You have to ask yourself if they would really be letting him go if they thought he was going to be a big player.

Swap deals are good for PSR shite and they’ve been heavily linked with Gordon and Isak - I think if we’ve already bid £125m on players without a CH then a ‘purple’ (hate that saying!) might be off (hopefully not Isak)
