NUFC Transfer Rumours

This current setup is because he left at the start of the window, we haven't replaced him yet.

Yea, but Nickson and A. Howe have been here a while.

Questions really need to be answered why we are after Ekitike for the 3rd time and same for Pedro. We should know better if they are just waiting for bigger teams and their agents are making us look like idiots over and over again.

Eddie's not an unknown, especially within the game. Wages and prestige are where we get caught at the minute.

I think it's just wages, and I also believe it's up to us to make that an issue or a non-issue.

Prestige, location and Howe aren't as big a deal as what we think, although it's made to appear so by our approach this window.

You and doing a disservice to the intelligence of footballers here. If someone was given an offer here, they would of course know that Howe has achieved considerable progress, taken a team from the edges of the premiership to winning silverware, and at the same time developed players for any next step. Eddie is not unknown at all in professional circles.

I think you are being deliberately misleading here. Or do you have another agenda?

I dealt with players and clubs everyday for years, including discussing with dave many years back doing an exclusive on here to unveil a player as the first player unveiled by fans, so definitely no agenda

He joins whoever pays the most money. And CL.

Chelsea have a no name manager.

Chelsea are in London, CL winners and with a manager backed up by Pep. Chelsea pay lower than most on wages now

I think the club were obviously right to part way with Mitchell if he upset the apple cart, but I don’t think everybody left at the club is completely blameless when it comes to our transfers/targets - including the manager.

It feels as though there’s been a brief given to journalists recently to point the blame towards Mitchell with regards to the Isak situation too. May be true, may not. Either way we need the hierarchy above Howe to have some stability and unfortunately for Howe, he’s going to have to learn to work with them. It’s how top clubs operate.

Mudryk signed as one of the most expensive player in the world and is on 97k a week, they pay other players far less so lets not go with the line we cant compete. They pay low and incentivise high, something we can do. Its the fact they are in London and recent CL winners thats the bigger issue

Ekitike absolutely, he's made us look mugs. Pedro on the other hand was us pulling the plug previously and instead signing Isak.

Chelsea outbid Arsenal for Mudryk. Whether fee or wages. Arsenal were outbid by Chelsea.

Chelsea outbid Liverpool for Lavia and Caicedo.

Chelsea have the most expensive squad in the history of football and will have at worst - the 3rd highest wage bill in the PL. You are talking nonsense.

Might be true, we dont know, but again as soon as Chelsea came in we were out. And apparently wanted to stay in London. Then Howe says we need players who really want to come here. Was he like that? Someone is not doing their job.

If we sell Isak for say £150M where could we go from there?

Assuming we had at least £50M before that, we could spend around £200M in total.

If that could give us Trafford, Scalvini, Sesko and Wissa it wouldn't look so bad in the end.

But that is a lot of buissiness to be done in a short time.

Not Trafford now tbf

Man City having an option on him is still a bit of a wildcard. You'd think they'd look at more of a "sure thing" signing anyway but with Ederson and Ortega both looking ropey means we could do with having this tied up sharp

Yay. Cunts

I tell you what, our owners' incompetence as revealed this window, and the remorseless corruption of the cartel and football's authorities, is really testing my love for the game.

The worst thing is they give you hope, hope we didn't have for so long, then rip the rug out from under you.

Yes I shouldn't get my hopes up, yes we could see it coming arguably, bla bla bla. I just want to be able to dream and not have it ruined by selfish greedy so and so's.

At thsi point, let's just sign 5 freebies. And build up depth and get a bit of confidence back.

DCL / Jovic

Tomiyasu

Zouma / Lindelof

Doucure

Ziyech

Then we can buy a few worldies towards the end of the window

I'm talking about when he was at Watford, not Brighton. Definitely true.

Why does nee one want to join us? DCL will turn us down next.

Part of me is going all Matt Le Tissier and thinking maybe there's an PL agreement between everyone to boycott NUFC to deal with the emerging threat of a new superpower

Hence no-one is accepting even good bids of ours

Yea I know what you are talking about, but with transfers, we are in the dark and don't know exact details. If we pulled the plug on Pedro and changed target to Isak in the last moment, why did we think he would accept to come at us this year? I mean that is kind of rude right?

We’re like a stubborn man bargaining at the market in Khao Lak, coming back to the same stands a few days between. Except we’ve forgot that we’re on the fancy streets of Paris. At least we have all the money left when we fly home with 0 souvenirs.

TBF I can't see anyone can show any hate towards Isak when the lack of strategy from the top is clear to see...

Liverpool arsenal Chelsea and City all done good business and we standing still...
