See Wolves have signed that Jhon Arias for beans. Supposed to be an excellent player.

Wolves have a more creative transfer strategy than us, man

He is (if he can replicate the way he’s played at Fluminense) - one of the best players in Serie A Brazil, IMHO.

If we sold Isak for 150 mill. We would be able to sign 2 x 60 mill players on 200k a week without PSR issues. Then we would still have the money we already had budgeted for goalkeeper, centre mid and goal keeper

If we go from Isak-Wilson to Sesko-Wissa + money, that is a big upgrade.

Is it ?

According to Edwards selling Isak at £130m would likely only mean £40/£50m profit

The other one cannot stay fit, so this season attack was pretty much Isak+ no one.

Yea, if Sesko matches expectations, that is an upgrade.

Big If.

Christ, a couple weeks ago we were all hailing Isak as the best striker in the league if not the world. Now Sesko’s potential is an upgrade

I think Isak is pretty much the best, but IF Sesko turns out to be good, which seems the expectation given that top clubs are after him, and behind him a 19-goal-striker.

I mean, Isak + Wissa would be better of course. But comparing to Isak+Wilson?

Considering we paid 60 for him and have had him for 3 years of a 6 year contract, psr would class that as half the 60 paid off which is 30 million.  Sell him for 130 million and thats 100 million profit.

Less Sociedad’s sell on clause which Baldwards says is quite chunky.

Think it was 63m but might have been a rising to 70+ with add ons.

If it is 70m with add ons met  and we also agreed to 20% sell on at 130 it probably would only be 60/70m

Sociedad have a sell on clause. It’s not going to be this clubs ‘Coutinho money’ that everyone thinks it is. The bulk will probably go on replacing Isak

I'm not convinced its as simple as adding and subtracting transfer fees.

Sorry not sure what you mean? We paid 63m for him I think there was clauses if there were he may have met some. I am not in the know it's just guessing how baldwards gets to his 60m profit on a 130m sale.

Athletic have it at 15%, which given Isaks book value would suggest Edward’s maths is a bit off.

WIth that sell-on, fuck that. Honestly better off giving him the wage he wants and progressing forward.

I don’t think it’s just about the wage
