Are there any potential out-of-the-blue, blow your tits off striker signings we could make - names that haven't been mentioned yet and would be totally left field but would represent that 'i can't believe this is happening' feeling we got with Isak? Not totally unrealistic but 'this is really exciting'.
At the moment, it seems like Watkins, Hojland, Strand Larsen, Jackson and Wissa are the only options, and they're all a bit underwhelming really. But there are thousands of teams out there, all of which have strikers. They can't all be shit can they?

Alvarez

Ramos

Openda

woltenmade

martinez

thuram

Osimhen

If strand Larsen joined this summer and they’re willing to consider a sale for double the money as the Wilson replacement why not go after Osimhen at Galatasaray for the Isak replacement even if he did join this summer? He is of the same or similar ilk, he might be willing to join for 200k in a top league. He cost them 45m so perhaps offer the Sesko money (75m)

worst case even a loan for 10m - would rather him than Jackson

Because he’d want a billion pounds an hour

always bear in mine the pound make it easier to make wages when coming from abroad and we can absolutely front load with signing on fees and bonuses to make the wages lower, all of these wages arguments whilst true can be negated, its just how much youre will to give to get there

What’s the theory about why there’s a lack of strikers around at the minute? Is it cyclicals or something more to do with the way the game itself has gone?

Teams used to always play 4-4-2 or 3-4-3,but now its just 1 up front most of the time so less out and out strikers. I miss the old days.

I’ll show my arse in Fenwick’s Window if we don’t sign at least one striker before the window closes.

I too will add my arse.

Anyone else?

Could save them a fortune on the Christmas display.

Barcola, maybe. Though he’s more of a wide forward than an out-and-out striker.

This is literally the most risk free signing we could do - what an absolute joke

He's never played in the Premier League so it definitely isn't the most risk-free. The price would also be higher for us.

Aren't the tax rates in Turkey extremely friendly to the super rich?

See to remember reading somewhere that's why they are able to attract the star names

If you look at what transfermarkt has for the 5 most valuable forwards under the age of 23, we have tried to sign 4 of them this summer, with the other being Samu.

Add in other forwards that have moved this window or January, so Chelsea signing Pedro and Delap, Liverpool Ekitike, Man Utd Sesko, Arsenal Gyokeres and Man City Marmoush.

That is an unusual high number of forwards signed that we would have had a shot with any other year, so we will need to be creative, but short notice creative usually means a lack of due diligence, which I don’t think we will want to take at big money.

Doue would be mega for me. Would consider us signing someone who is capable of being one of the best in the world.

 you could find an example of someone saying this about every striker signing for another club. Ignoring how many of these completely flame out.

It's the highest # of top-level strikers moved in a window in like 3 years if i read somewhere correctly. Last summer only 2 moved over 50m?
