Only if we then sell someone in June

Dont think so. We have just spent the money we had earmarked for Joa Pedro and Ekitike. So the Isak sale would free up funds for Wissa + another purple.

I still think pedro and ekitike transfers were always gonna be repaid by the isak sale

It'd be great to add Wissa in as well as Woltermade

It would also be kind of great if we didn't add Wissa....as that would probably mean we would have a strike force of Isak and Woltemade.

As much as I have become to despise Isak - he is still a World Class striker and if we can get him to play having Isak and Woltemade would put us in the the title challengers bracket

Dont think either will have a problem there. Just depends how much we want to recoup. Thats a separate issue.

That's my point though... We'd need £25M for Willock and £40M for Barnes, just to break even on what we paid for them.

Prem scouts will know both can be had, but nobody's really sniffing around at those prices (although I'd argue both would be pretty fair deals)

From a PSR perspective the book values for Willock & Barnes are at around £8.3m & £24m respectively, any fee above that will be considered profit

20-25m is likely going rate for Willock. Two years younger than Longstaff.

Barnes scored some blinders for us last year. I just dont think he really fits what Howe wants. Seems like such a weird signing, just trying to be opportunistic maybe. Do think we could get close to 40m for him too. Market is crazy and he can score goals.

Sell Willock if we can.

Get Gallagher in and/or buy some potential.

Aye, Gallagher would be great and is very available... Don't know why we haven't made genuine moves for him already.

If we do sell Isak, we'd probably have enough money for a Wissa type + one vanity signing like Fermin Lopez or Mainoo

don’t call Mainoo a vanity signing, he ain’t even close to that! He’s a solid 8 but Fermin could be absolutely deadly for us.

Aye nothing vanity about signing Mainoo. Just a good signing that would get used a lot.

I’d prefer we find either a true 6 to backup Tonali or a right sided 8 who’s in the Ramsey mould of attacking threat. Maybe not a dribbler but a technical player.
