NUFC Transfer Rumours

Need to give him a new deal ASAP. If it has to be with a release clause, so be it, it still protects us from this summers debacle.

But any release clause has to be fair. Rumours Isaks side wanted a ridiculously low one.

Edit......oh for the days before release clauses, add ons, buyback, when a loan was a 1 month trial to see how they got on.

I dont know the characters of our players that well to judge, but the big reason they wont be doing an Isak is the amount of venom coming Isaks way. They will be beside him on the pitch when it happens. Might make them think twice.

Isak has got the move he wanted. A shit load more money, will probably win the league, all the people in the media saying he’s a disgrace will forget about it in a months time. I doubt he really cares about venom from Newcastle fans. He’s a selfish cunt

Literally 3 players have done it this summer alone. It’ll creep in and become more common. Tho I agree don’t think we’ve much to worry about with Tonali or Bruno

Did they refuse to train with their team that made champions league and won a cup? Were they generational talent?

Is that relevant? Did you mean that behaviour only happens every 7 years after a team has won the cup, got in to champions league and they were a generational talent then fair enough? But you neglected to mention that part

Sometimes good players will want to leave for bigger clubs and there’s absolutely nothing we could have done with Isak that will change that.  We replace them and keep building.

Agreed with that players won't want to stay and may be poached but hope most won't down tools to push for it. The marc guehi scenario albeit not with the threat of walking for nowt.

Asking to go is very different than the hand granade approach the piss stain tried

For all that, there's may be just the stirrings of kicking off about PSR being recognised in the press. From Jordan on Talksport, even Agbonlahor, Emery in his programme notes, chants at games........it needs to build.

im just saying it’s very rare for talent as good as isak to do what he did after the season we had and the path we’re on. It only ever randomly happens. The lengths he went were even more galling and unprofessional. It’s a bent world that a club as honorable and respectful as Liverpool would enable that but that’s where we are in this world.

We as football fans are told players want CL and trophies and we did that. We are told money does matter, we offered him the best we could this summer (according to Hardy) and he not only refused but disrespected the club, his manager, his teammates and the fans. It’s nonsense all around.

PSR is a joke. Isak is a joke. Liverpool is a joke. Agents and their agendas are a joke. The cartel clubs are a joke. Football as a business is not serious. It’s a joke. Clubs enabling and voting on these rules to stay in place are a joke. Steve Parish selling Guehi for half of what we were willing to pay last summer to a club like Liverpool this summer is even worse than Isak economically and he is a fraud of a business person. Real fans of football clubs who have just want to watch football and support their clubs don’t deserve this. We as fans are not a joke. It’s us against ALL OF THEM. Nobody is our friend and I don’t want to be friends with other clubs or players or agents. Come to SJP and we’ll get into you and we will be defeat you and now that the trader is gone bring them all the fuck on. Newcastle till I die.

It won't. Besides, fear is the last reason a player should want to stay at a club.

PSR is the real reason we are losing players. From Minteh and Anderson, to Pedro and Isak. As long as we are prevented from buying the best players and paying them the best wages, there is always the danger someone else will. I just don't think enough of the football media or establishment care enough as long as their beloved big 5 or 6 clubs are the winners.

I’m going to stick my neck out and say Isak won’t be the player he was here at Liverpool. Not because he's a bad player but because Liverpool aren’t going to mould their whole team to suit and feed him like Howe did here. Factor in bigger ego's like Salah and Ekitike and there's no guarantee it works out for him.

im still not entirely sold on Slot myself either, I mean their best player these past two games has been the one Slot bought Wirtz to replace

I think its started.......it needs to be kept growing and going. Every game we take part in, even when were winning so its not seen as sour grapes, get tge chant out there. That's our bit, the hard bit is keeping it in the media now the transfer season has ended and its "just" games.

Who said fear is making players stay?

I said seeing an ex player get dogs abuse will make them rethink their exit strategy.

PSR has nothing to do.with Isak.leaving and has had little impact on our window tbh. Month and Anderson yes, but not this window. We've just spent a quarter of a billion quid.

Well the ugly truth is it worked for Isak and Wissa. Doing it the nice way didn't work for Larsen.

PSR doesn't have an impact on paying players double what they can get elsewhere?
