NUFC Transfer Rumours

Fucking hell this has to be a windup. And if we win a cup they'll just win a better cup! And if anything good happens they'll make BAD things happen, and what's even the point of even trying to do anything anyway, we may as well just wait for the sweet release of death...you muppet

No need to get personal. Agree or disagree. But aye, not fully serious. Just pissed and venting. Be better tomorrow. Was OK a few hours ago. It comes and goes.

It looks a very ordinary and unexciting window outside of Big Nick. You’re right though he could be the real wild card that gives us creativity and excitement.

apart from losing Isak, it looks quite solid. Wissa is near 22/23 Callum level. Ramsey looks fucking great. Ramsdale, despite all the jokes, is an excellent back up option. I have no idea about Thiaw, but he is fast and massive.

Ooft. Wasn't expecting the extent of negativity I've been reading.

I think we've had a good window, and I'll start with the massive plus - we've gotten rid of a rat. A talented one, for sure, but a rat, even surer.

We have enhanced our team everywhere we all were crying out for, especially in attacking terms. Would you take Osula and Isak (sulking), over an eager and willing to die for the club Elanga, Wissa and Woltemade? You're crazy, if so.

My "ideal signings" quickly shifted to people who could improve us tomorrow but had a strong desire to wear this shirt, and I think we have achieved that. I've not even mentioned Thiaw, Ramsdale and Ramsey - all who are substantial improvements on what we had prior.

Would I like a crazy, dynamic, creative midfielder in the next 7 minutes? Of course, but I'm happy as a pig in shit with this window. The best we've had in a long while.

Murphy had a purple season he isn't going to do that every season if ever again.  Elangas numbers are solid.  Might take him a while to get up to speed and Ill give him the chance to prove himself along with the rest as we havent really made any bad signings since the takeover.

If anyone beats Murphy's output last season, then they are doing exceedingly well. Some on here act like that's average for a winger. Elanga has produced somewhat similar over two seasons.

Which is fair, but my point stands in terms of output, it's not an inprovement. For £55m, feels like a miss step.

Like I said. Will feel better in the morning or later tonight when it's all done, then worse when I see that cunt in a red shirt. Can't help the emotions on this. Better out than in! 😂

Feel like players like Sandro and Tino would be more likely to want to leave if we have a shite season than because we lost the posturing, personally.

U are assuming too much.

With coming years there would be more wissas and less Isaks.

I don't understand the criticism personally, we've replaced our striker who refused to go Saudi or play for a player that Bayern wanted to replace Kane. Howe will once again do magic with the signings he has been given - why is everyone so defeated?

It’s all good being disappointed and frustrated. I get where you are coming from. We’ve made 6 signings but it just feels shit. A few wins hopefully and we’ll get over it.

personally I think it’s gonna be a long frustrating season.

This window’s been a Pandora’s box. If they don’t change regulations on player’s contracts it’s going to be open season on players striking whenever they like to get moves they want. The blueprint is there in Isak and Wissa

Another transitional season. I worry what Tonali and Bruno stand now they've experienced this. Can't exactly block their moves with much force. Needs to be equally a good a season to keep them both Imo.

I do think the signs are pretty good for this season. Apart from the snoozefest of Leeds, we have looked seriously committed. And now we have firepower up front.

And we have the best god damn coach in the world to navigate us through the tricky season.

Know what you mean I can’t get my head round whether we have capitulated, or we just did the right thing and we’ll go on to bigger things.

It’s very difficult after the takeover to come to terms with what this means. Where clearly beyond the Beardsley, Carroll days, but with our history it bites hard and this hurts undoubtedly.

In the cold light of day it’s hopefully nothing more than one player and a hiccup along the way. But that old scepticism is hard to shake at times like this.

Finding a way to win without Isak will be the first thing we need to overcome. Our record without him is poor

think we're in an infinitely better place to compete on all fronts. And even in our transitional season, we went on two absurd Howe special winning runs and only missed out on Europe because Man City decided to play a summer beach pickup game against Manure. I'm fairly confident that we'll do better than those 60 points that season.

Never said we were. Us allowing Liverpool to have the best striker in the league on the cheap, means pif can kiss their no1 shite goodbye (whatever tge timescale). Next 5 years is all them, and if we do land a player capable, they'll just take them off us.

Dokko. You literally sound like a stroppy kid sat with your arms folded with a pet lip.
