If they're looking to move on from Murphy this summer then they're taking this rebuild even more seriously than anticipated.

He’ll be in the squad in August unless he’s injured.

I never understood why we never tried Elanga on the left.

He should definitely be left back.

Left back in the dressing room.

I'll get my coat

We could have cleaned up this talent last summer with 250 million to spend and still had change.

Much harder sell this summer with no European football and less funds unfortunately.

We’re after Nusa….Straight in the team if Gordon goes

Nusa is talented, and looks great on the eye.

However, he's also not been very productive and when I've seen him he can also be a bit flimsy. Goes to ground looking for fouls a bit too often for my liking.

Still young though and so can still improve in those areas. Don't think he'd come in as a starter right away though.

Truly would have been miles better off going from the few insightful ‘scouting analysts’ on YouTube and football manager. If we won’t hire the staff to be able to watch every league with young talent and the best current academies, we unironically should make use of those. And then let Nickson say yay or nay

Alikouche
Nusa

Camara
Kayode or other RB
Trafford

Just those five signings alone would move us so far forward even if we didn’t get the Forest or Sunderland style rebuild.

Trafford / Vlach

Kayode / Miley

Thiaw / Schar

Botman / Burn

Hall / Burn

Bruno / Ramsey

Tonali / Joelinton

Camara / Miley

Alikouche / Elanga

Nusa / Barnes

Woltemade
Osula

Wissa

Thats a 21 man squad. Healthier. Could handle less games next season and would perhaps cost less than 200m all in.

Could even promote a few youngsters or get a couple of freebies or backups

Would be a dream start

Then sell 2 of Wolte/Wissa/Osula and buy a new starting 9

I'd lose 1 of Schar/Burn and get young, talented CB in like Acheampong, he can cover RB as well. Would mean Kayode could cover LB which I think he can?

Just don't want to see Burn at LB ever again, so Hall needs cover

All seems it would be too good to be true, but nice to hope

What's that Sanjay lad up to? I've not been on Twitter in 18 months, but I always liked his posts. Maybe it was an alter ego for Suds.

Summerville would be a good Gordon replacement, might cost a few quid though

Think we should be aiming higher for our starting LW.

Unless I've got the wrong bloke but did anyone else notice Ross Wilson deep in conversation with a West Ham player at the end.

Ended in a handshake then bear hug.

Diouf, I think???

Had a look at KUMB to see what the vibes were around Bowen. Consensus seemed to be that he's a club legend but for whom the magic's gone and has had a bad season. The forgiving among them reckoned it was because he's been carrying them for so long and/or because he's got an injury.

The guy has barely missed a game of football since becoming a first-team player for Hull nearly ten years ago. You can definitely see the appeal for signing someone like him given what we've lacked this season, and given we'll be losing dressing room leaders, but I'd worry about how much he's got left in the tank.

We've signed three ~30.y.o players since the takeover; two have been absolutely immense and one has been a disaster.

The no European football line is a load of tosh, it's always about the wages.
