So, we're losing Tripps, Tino, Krafth and possibly Schär? Eddie talked about not getting too many new in but only in defence it seems like we could need 3 or 4 new players just to fill the holes...

Looks like we will definitely need 2 RBs and 1 LB backup, maybe just hold onto Schar and Burn as CB rotation, given we probably won't be in Europe.

Three right backs too.

Good job we have the two Lewis's to play there now.

:troll:

Doubt Schär will be released though, otherwise think he'd have gotten a good send off like Krafth and Tripps.

I’d buy a really capable LB so Hall can play in midfield.

I knew a few months back that Tino wanted to move to Arsenal. Can't remember if I posted it on here.

I won't shed too many tears. Cracking left back, decent right back, always injured.

What's the story?

Weirdly the Trippier send off feels more and more like he's being used as part of a bigger play aimed at those who want out. Said it at the match on Sunday there was definitely one or two involved where both the club and the player knew it was their last game at SJP but nothing was made of it.

Surprising if it's true. You would think they would have had major concerns over his ongoing fitness issues but if not, they are doing us a favour.

Everyone here seems to be taking it seriously. That's why I was surprised to hear it.

There isn't one. Just when he was being linked to Man City he openly said he wanted to join Arsenal instead. I didn't know anything about Arsenal's interest in him though.

I can see why he's attractive to the cartel clubs honestly, can play both sides, English so good for registration, a good age who still has areas to work on.

I still can't get over the fact we don't have a plus 1 year on him.

He's an excellent player without the injury concerns. But there's every chance he's a permacrock, that's the issue.

I honestly don't usually go in for the 'injury prone' label and I've defended Botman for it. Maybe I'm just not so attached to Tino for some reason

Basically he's a good player but if we have to sell someone I wouldn't be gutted.

well I think we all know Gordon and Tino are the ones. Would be over the moon if they are the only outgoings.

I rate Gordon and I think he would be hard to replace in our Plan A BUT if Eddie finally move to other setup I.e. 4231 then we would be fine

Think this would make him the first German born footballer with a Japanese mother to play for us.
