I thought Schade lost pretty much every duel yesterday. Trippier completely dominated him.

Tripps had him pretty good, but Schade felt like the only one creating anything for them:

Schade recorded two shots (one on goal), five crosses (one accurate) and three chances created in Wednesday's 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United.

I like his profile over a Damsgaard, who other's have mentioned is weak on the ball under pressure/in the tackle.

Yeah. Wants more of an opportunity to establish himself as a first team player, which he doesn't think he'll get at Liverpool.

Coming from some scout that has been familiar with him from his youth football days.

“I picked Quansah out when he was in the youth team and I always thought he had the makings of becoming a top player.

“He’s got to a certain level in his career, but now I think he needs to push on again.

“To do that, he’s got to be playing football at the top level.

“With the options they’ve got at Liverpool at the moment, it doesn’t look like he’ll be a regular any time soon, especially while they’re looking to sign new players there.

“So if he’s got the opportunity to go and play for Newcastle, I hear he wants to do that.

“He knows what’s best for his career, and at this stage is being able to play every week.

“It would be a tremendous move for him and for Newcastle, they’d be picking up a very promising young player if they could get it over the line.“

Roony Bardghji potentially on a cheap deal as his contract expires at the end of the year

Has been out with an horrific injury, at his age it could easily alter the trajectory of his career which obviously hopefully it hasn’t.

Don't think that's clear yet.

Young and English with some experience , so likely around what we paid for the likes of Gordon and Tino.

So around ÂŁ40 million if I had to hazard a guess.

Anything more than that would be a joke.

Replacement for Fab, can play RB, CB. Slot quotes on him as “strong, fast and comfortable with the ball”

I get the sense Quansah's one of those players they've had their eye on for far longer than we'd ever know.

I completely trust they know a top player when they see one.

When that PSR drama was kicking off and Gordon to Liverpool was in discussion, apparently he was the priority initially as part of the deal but Liverpool refused, and so Gomez was then the alternative.

Giving Liverpool money? In this economy? You're having a bath, fuck the cartel.

Small time thinking. If it’s a player we want, the selling club is irrelevant.

Nah. Not for a Quansah.

If he’s a main target, that’s been tracked for a while, it’s absolutely irrelevant IMO.

If it were more of a stop-gap signing, then perhaps there’s an argument.

Personally hope we're diverging from over investing in the English market this summer having had our wings clipped by PSR, although value has worked out thus far on the targets we've acquired (Tino, Hall, Gordon...).

If the club do it then of course, being serious, I trust their moves but hope we're a bit more creative than getting a Liverpool cast off at a premium (irrespective of perceived talent). That's hopefully where Mitchell comes in.

Fuck the cartel sentiment still holds.
