Ornstein mentioned that he has good numbers and is seen more favourably by clubs than fans. Almost like career football scouts know more than fans in terms of talent id? andycap
Some aren't looking at the big picture like. Isak wants away we are gonna lose him at some point, it's very rare to replace a beast of a striker with the same level of ability. Look at spurs as an example. We have to recruit what's available as ekitike Pedro sesko are gone.

andycap
So wissa as our ready made striker and a dearer one as the development striker. Wissa will knock them in and gain us points keeping us competitive.

La Parka
Tbh Jackson would be good, it's just Chelsea's pricing and the ick it gives me to fund their Littlewoods catalogue of talent they churn through each season.

Doesn’t have to be when we are scraping the barrel for Jackson. it’s absolutely embarrassing. Liverpool have absolutely played with us and now Chelsea are too. lovejoy
The good thing about Jackson would be a future Saudi move. He’d be ripe of that if it didn’t pan out.

Kid Icarus
If we sell Isak and do this I want every person with the ability to approve it or veto it out of the club. Edited August 6, 2025 by Kid Icarus

The Prophet
Putting the insane price tag aside for a moment. Jackson has lead the line for Chelsea in two top six finishes, scoring double figures in both. Objectively, they always look a better side with him playing due to his tireless running and pressing. Sure his composure needs some work and he is a hot head, but I don't understand folk going on like he's a total donkey. He'd do well for us and has scope to improve. lovejoy
It should be Ollie Watkins replacing Isak at this stage. 100%.

Famous Nick
good they sold Joao Felix otherwise they would now force us to buy him off of them...

There’s a great article on him in the athletic about his work rate and ability to press. £80m is the issue here. It’s mental money that.

Jewel
80m? So that's Delap and Pedro, bought and paid for. With scope to make further signings. Its not that Jackson would be a bad signing at the right price, its the fact that we would be willing to help out Chelsea to such an extent. Would be infuriating.
