I think Jackson is hugely underrated and would do really well here. Not sure I’d pay over £60m for him, but he’s definitely worth 50-60m in today’s market.

The PSR debate about Watkins is absolutely futile at this stage. The fact is he’d give us the best chance of finishing in the top 5 again next season.

 

We’ve also apparently got plenty of PSR headroom this summer and can achieve precisely fuck all.

 

We’d get two years out of him and in that time who knows what happens with APT cases etc.

 

He’s a round peg in a round hole. Just do it.

Just looked at all his Chelsea goals. Most of them are laid on hits for 6 yards.. We don’t have that cole Palmer type to hold his hand

Its not that Jackson would be a bad signing at the right price, its the fact that we would be willing to help out Chelsea to such an extent. Would be infuriating.

 

I know it's sickening to contribute to Chelsea next splurge, but if it's not us giving them money for Jackson, they'll find the money from someone else, they're excellent sellers.

Who knew that if you hoard a load of promising players that they'll develop into little pots of money to cash in whenever you please, a good loan spell and a bit of inflation will ensure you'll make a tidy profit and if that fails, give your pals at Strasbourg or the Saudi league a call and tell them how much you need. If all that fails, you can always sell the burger van outside Stamford Bridge to yourself for 400m

If Isak does have to leave this summer, it’s short termism and Watkins for me. Proven PL quality and will pretty much replace Isak’s goals.
