I think if we had Sorloth in the team we would be on 6 points right now. Why fuck around trying to get players that aren’t available when there are options out there that are just as good? Obviously he isn’t a world beater or a long term answer to the Isak problem, but he could get us CL. You would say the same for Larsen and Wissa.

Loan with an option which is really an obligation for the next financial year would be ideal. Seems available given Palace have asked.

Maybe let's see but we've spent quite a bit already our lack of revenue really hurts us, we simply can't spend at the level of cartel clubs.

It would be nice if we used our scouts to come up with a bargain. I was watching Munoz on Sunday, they bought him for £8m from Genk at 27 years old and he’d walk into most teams in the league. Why can’t we make signings like that?

This is a bit of a double sided coin tbh. I strongly believe we can much more for 60m euro than Strand Larsen that being said it's much more difficult for clubs of our statute to roll the dice on players from smaller leagues.

As I've said all through the window, we don't make a decision that impacts the long-term future windows and gives us big problems. So any decision we make will always be based around controlling PSR and good financial decisions.

To add to the list of players from other leagues at reasonable prices. Apparently we were rumoured to look at Franculino from Midtjylland earlier this year. Since then he has been on fire and although they look for a Danish record fee it still seems it could be a great fit. Not expecting us to go there though… frustrating times.
